I never really liked him and that inner London, cocky, full of themselves attitide, but in last few years he seems to have calmed down and sorted himself out. Atleast he's not a junky anymore.

I've seen quite a few Russel Brand s since he started up and he's gotten big , 5.8 million subs.

The comments on yt go bananas every time and he's tipped his uploads for about 6pm every day.

He's running out of material though and getting predictable like Alex Jones is.

Cut to the chase , some ppl really don't like him and they're not necessarily wrong to try and expose what he's really up to. Playing comedic shills to misdirect audiences is textbook standard , an old trick . But new millennial who'd like to think they're wiser now seem to be that adoring mob who fall for him .
Pouring disdain over people is a favourite thing to do , having justifiable excuse for tsk ing at anyone is then , subscribable for them .
I think the roots belie the tree honestly . He came from that Saville Place where they're always thinking of adding more steps to the ladder so their feet can't be seen. Like the statue out front of the beeb building , they're inviting perversions , putting their powers of uncheckable molestation in ppls faces while they don't go on camera often , except to patronise ppl down the garden path to where they don't do the research. They'd rather imagine that someone like Russell has done the groundwork , and will ask their question for them instead , so they put him on pedestal and follow his advice.

Russel continues to earn my respect by his effortless knack for ribbing the competition without undermining their self esteem or attacking their professional credibility unless he can factually do so. He's not about contrarianism, he's about common sense and dignity.

Even when he was a junky, at least he wasn't a moron.

I didn't like him in the past, but over the last few years I've changed my opinion totally. He's cool. I like the fact that he has a wacky side. He can deal with the crazy sh!t that's happening. His recent episode with Jimmy Dore was a masterpiece. Truth telling, writ large. 5 stars for sure.

I like his style, very informative.

But he is fishy, something is not right. I hope he is only after the fame&fortune, but i fear he is doing more than that.

Same goes for Paul Stamets, he is like a cleaned up version of Terence McKenna, it starts as- hey look at this hat that is made from mushrooms- to hey look at this spore spray that maims people and leaves a blue spore line in the ground so we can track everyone down.

It is shocking that the way he looks is so important to posters......

I would rather see posters discuss what he has said than judge his appearance.

The message gets lost because people are hung up on judging the messenger.

Probably it tested well for his demographic. His appearance is very carefully controlled - hair, clothing, makeup, tattoos all are carefully arranged so he stands out, and presents an identifiable 'brand'.

Also, ranting and raving does not convince me of evidence of intellect, as it seems to do for others.

Without doubt, he is a smart cookie, but he is trapped in his own public image.
