It appears you can file a police report and get some action on LBGT porn being provided to children's libraries. Utah school system removes books under review and the state is passing anti-classroom pornography laws.

Good. This filth should be nowhere near school children.

Utah school district pulls 52 books after concerns and flagged another 32 for later review

www.sltrib.com...

Alpine School District has pulled 52 books off its library shelves after parents complained that the titles — which largely focus on the LGBTQ community — are inappropriate for children.

Utah Parents United curriculum director Brooke Stephens also filed a police report with both Farmington Police Department and Davis County Sheriff’s Office, according to copies provided to The Salt Lake Tribune, to report a list of 47 books in Davis School District.

In response, Utah lawmakers passed HB374 this past session that now requires all public K-12 school districts to create a policy to remove books that contain “pornographic or indecent material” from both libraries and classrooms.

Imagine school districts not allowing books like Lord of the Flys or 1984 to exist in school libraries.. Both contain strong currents of sexuality and indecency.

Imagine Liberals not trying to force pole dancing and drag queen shows on elementary school age kids.

They have pictures of teens performing oral on each other?

Lots of these do.

I don't recall seeing drawings of private parts showing how to use them in the performance of pleasuring each other and self in either one of those books.

For those of you who believe in Hell. Does this seem to you like we are living in end times and we are being attacked, not by man, but from Hell? Why else are all these things happening all at the same time? Like a coordinated attack on morals and just basic decency. Schools being attacked, politics dirtier than ever , diseases, natural disasters breaking records, war, the famine that we've been warned is coming.

I see 5 of the 52 banned books are a fantasy series by Sarah Maas. I have never read the series and the reviews are mixed…I struggled to find the controversial subject matter, maybe lesbian or bisexual material?

In any case, I find it funny to ban fantasy fiction. I enjoyed reading game of thrones, lord of the rings / Hobbit, and numerous more obscure series when I was younger.

No. It's just new-politics
Maintain control by creating chaos and infighting
Aka...trolling conservatives

Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. 4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

5 Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord[c] at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings. 9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”[d] 10 Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.

It's fantasy so it must be OK, right?

Not at all. I bought a series about dragons, but what it was really all themed around? The dragons eating the women out and graphic descriptions of the dragons sliding their reptilian tongues all up in there.

It honestly has to be the only book series that I refuse to pass on and I will personally burn it. There isn't really a story there, just lots of oral pleasuring from dragons.

I have another series that also features lots and lots of sex. Let's just say it's 50 Shades, but with plot.

The series you described sounds overly graphic and perhaps intentionally pornographic by design. Fantasy fiction is generally a genre distinctly different then pornography..so if a series is classified as fantasy fiction and not flagged as for mature audiences, then should be good.

Like all things, the accessibility to mature content should be restricted as needed.

imagine schools not gr00ming children.

lets put it this way.
if i was not chasing girls, i would be a milllionaire easy. because my brain would think clear lol.
like costanza in seinfeld, when he became a genius because he gave up women.

the longer a kid does NOT have to worry about chicks?
the better.

one of my friends said, 'drinking is more fun than sex'
and i always make fun of him for saying that.

but damn, i have never found anything more fun than sex.

but yet, when im in 1st grade, i never thought of sex. back then, the summers lasted forever. years lasted forever. WEEKS lasted forever. things were way easier.

and yet, libralz want to take away that freedom from children.

gl0balizts plans are to destroy our Republik, partially thru the destructi0n of the family unit.
its been pr0tok0led, its all in the works.

the gr00ming of children? falls right into those plans.

Were those two books about sexual acts outside of social norms or were they about societies that went batsh** crazy?

Because if they were about societies that went batsh** crazy then you’d expect they’d mention lewd and crude practices.

Not for the younger reader but not even in the same ballpark as the filth in the OP.

There's a lot of smut out there that kids don't need to be exposed to at school by the school.

I can see where this could upset a lot of people. And by their standards rightly so. Yet I wonder, all the upset parents, where were they when there was only one or two of these books on the library shelves. How were they so busy that they failed to protect their children way back then.

You may not understand this but I recall questioning the use of Harry Potter books to get children to read. It got pushed in school after school and I recall the books flying off the shelves of libraries. Kids were devouring them. Book after book after book teaching children to fantasize about cartoonist heroes using magic to overcome those who would put them down. What a load of crap. Harry Potter is now a staple of Western Culture.

I was a horror fan in school. For me, RL stine was the man. Goosebumps was fun, but it was his Fear Street series that i really enjoyed. If it was not rl stine, it would be isaac asimov books written for the child audience that taught me everything about space. I may be the only person i have ever met that woukd actually amuse myself by reading the dictionary too. Find a random page, read all the words on it.

I always cherished learning. Still do. I am glad this is a trait that my children have picked up.
