From the projects to a business man

For my Canadian friends, it’s the long weekend with tomorrow being a holiday. Enjoy it!

At 8 pm tonight we got episode 21 premiering on YouTube and Spotify.

Our guest, Big Turk, grew up in the notoriously deadly, Blumberg Projects in Phillidelphia.

We talk about his time in the streets. Getting shot in both legs.
Ending up in prison on a homicide case. Released on bail.
Getting shot in the face.
Then Ending up back in jail on a separate indictment.

At the time he didn’t see what the judge saw in him - potential.
Potential to do something positive with his life.

Turk says the judge saved his life by putting him in prison.
Because it was there that he realized what he was meant to achieve with his life.

While in the pen he wrote 4 books. 2 screen plays and started an entertainment label - Talk Heavy Entertainment.
He didn’t cut ties to the streets once he got out.
Instead he used the streets as fuel.

Now, he is a legal and prosperous businessman.
With one of the hottest up and coming R&B artists signed to his label.
