House passes Assault weapon ban

If you look closely at the mini 14's on the left, the magazines are installed. you can tell by the release tab in front of the trigger guard. These "ranch" rifles come with a 5 round magazine, which when inserted fits flush with the bottom of the stock. The photo is kind of misleading though, having the higher capacity magazines installed only on the "assault" rifles, when they can be installed on either.

Where are you getting this information? If I so much as drill a third pin hole into one of my lowers without permission from ATF, and end up getting caught with it, even if I don't have the auto sear or burst cam, I am still facing a federal felony and 10 years in prison. You are misinformed. Unless you can show me where you can just walk into a gun store and just buy an auto sear or burst cam over the counter without having to get the tax stamp from ATF, which amounts to a permission slip, you have no clue what you are talking about.

Glad to see you know the guns aren't the problem. Maybe instead of focusing on banning something that can't kill on its own, those in charge could focus on getting people the help they need and taking reports of threats of violence and such more seriously.

Of course like those shooters who always access to guns that they weren't allowed to get? yet somehow they manage to find a way to get their hands on the gun despite being under the police/FBI radar.

Look at in Europe recently. Europeans dont have weapons, nor guns and yet crime rates are soaring in several cities, towns and what the police are doing to protect them?

They arent protecting as they are supposed as claimed by the politicians.

And military grade? When are people going to learn military grade doesn't mean jack, if anything it means it's been abused and worn out.

Rather than admonish I’ll point out that being less than knowledgeable on the subject really means that you shouldn’t be the one to regulate it. Not one bit. It is a responsibility of knowing your limitations and the honesty to admit to those limitations. Most people would respect that.

What they don’t respect is a monologue of ignorance followed with edicts based on that misinformation. It is like Joe firing both barrels for intimidation then brandishing an empty double barrel shotgun as a fireable weapon. Or in retrospect would that be the first example of Brandoning?

Get it through the Senate and have Joe sign it. Already got the case ready for the Supremes based on Abortion. That that Constitution clearly states plain as day Shall No Be Infringed at the Federal level so it MUST be up to the States to regulate what is a valid firearm…even full auto, and that all federal gun laws going back to 1934 NFA are unconstitutional.

Don't forget military grade means it was made by the lowest bidder. Quality just acceptable enough for a government to purchase in mass quantities.

But then, with only weeks to go before the midterm election, there will be a mass shooting; and wavering Republicans in the senate will “desert the party line, for the sake of common-sense gun reform.” Their conservative base will desert them, and the RiNOs in close elections will lose... to progressive Democrats candidates.

In related news, the democrats will hold on to the senate, and lose less than 20 seats in the house. It will be a surprising upset, explained by the Republican Party clinging to the guns and originalist outlook.
