More Human Remains Found at Lake Mead

Authorities were working to identify partial human remains found by a bystander at a Lake Mead National Recreation Area beach.

The National Park Service said rangers responded about 4:30 p.m. Monday to a report of remains spotted at Swim Beach, a small recreation area along the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead.

The Clark County coroner’s office is expected to identify the body and determine the person’s cause of death, officials said.

Coroner Melanie Rouse said Tuesday it was partially encased in mud at the water line of the swimming area along the shore north of Hemenway Harbor marina.

So the first body may be tied to Tony Spilotro and his murderous reign here. The next two, not so much. Crikey, these low levels of water exposing all these dead bodies is going to be some fascinating reading over the next few months. Who knows what the hell will next appear.

It would not surprise me if most large lakes have human remains. For almost 30 years I have heard rumor of Native bodies, well preserved, suspended in Lake Tahoe.

It's seems to make sense that large bodies of water end up with human remains, naturally or otherwise.

What might be surprising is how effective teams that drag lakes are?

The cannibals that ate human brains developed kuro. With all the putrefied human remains in Lake Mead, we now know why people in Nevada and So. Cal are crazy.

Lake Mead pumps water from the Colorado River to nearly 25 million people. It's a major water source for residents and tribes in Arizona, Nevada, California, and parts of Mexico, and some of the country's most productive agricultural sites
