(Zelda) Boat oars and rafts. Water travel:

It's occurred to me that you cannot I mean CANNOT no matter how hard you try to EVER use a boat oar in BOTW to steer your raft. You can ONLY use Korok leafs which is as Revali would say 'Asinine' as all gets out! Imagine being a new player you'd think the very first thing would be to use an oar right? They are lying all over the freaking place!!!! Some times bad guys even use them as a spanking spoon to chase Link with!!!!

So again why not be able to steer rafts with them? How would you deal with water travesty better in a version fast travel is very limited?
