I suppose oral history is prone to change down to hyperbole and the fact that people tend to remember things differently.

Even our written history could be taken out of context and misunderstood down to semantic progression.

I don't think our ancestors were daft, in some respects they were probably a lot smarter than we are today, in certain areas, down to them constantly having to be on the ball or pay a significant price.

We are spoiled in this day of age, with access to what amounts to a supercomputer carried around in our pockets and the near grand sum of total human knowledge available at our fingertips.

Countries steal stuff like this all the time from the US. Just like they steal a lot of the tenants of our constitution and other bills. Wanna know why? Because regardless of what our gov is like now, our founding was the best in history, flat out. The best form of flattery is imitation.
Imitation is the mainstay of fascist dictatorships* and liberal democracy. These superficial systems are really two sides of the same coin, their conflict perpetuates the status quo interests and that's why fascism is permitted to fester. In his farewell speech, George Washington warned about how this interaction would lead to absolute despotism.

Nationalisms founded on imitating neighbors consign their descendants to tyranny and slavery. For instance, there's no greater shameful display than seeing Erdogan's Turkey lowering itself and undermining its founder's legacy in its desperate bid to be recognized as a part of the European family.

*Except for Mussolini, the fascist nations never managed to produce any towering leaders or movements. And even in Italy, it wasn't the Italian people who made Mussolini great, but he was bestowed onto an unworthy people lacking in resolve and ambition.

The reason why the nations adopt the US model is because they were either compelled to or left with no better alternative. Without leaders and heroes, only sheer power and armaments from their masters provides solace for the voiceless masses.

The American founding was always half-hearted and superficial, from its reforms, to its eugenicist measures, to combating slavery and segregation, to settling European affairs. They didn't decisively severe ties with Britain, the result was that two were brought together again in a conspiracy against the world.

And what's more, the Founding Fathers didn't carry through the "revolution" all the way into religious affairs, it stopped at political reform. That's precisely what has led to its steady decline. Between Puritanism and the Founding Fathers' Deism, it's obvious which sect was enthroned from the beginning. Just what exactly was their Deism? What does the term Deism even signify? Probably 99% of Americans don't even bother investigating.

The final nail in the coffin was when Americans adopted antipathies as a substitute for patriotism. It always comes down to blaming their enemies for when things go wrong, never the willingness to assume responsibility.

As soon as a superior system of government appears on the scene, they'll all drop the US model in a heartbeat, throwing the bureaucratic ruling authorities into an unparalleled panic.

There is good grounds to expect a future system from Russia, as that is the historical mission long allotted to them. Even your own American seers testify that it'll come from Russia. The Russian people's idealism is already in the right place, their unity was firmly welded over centuries by the Tsars and Stalin, all that remains is a much needed renovation in their methods. Then Russia will finally be back on her feet.

And you think 99.9999999999999% of Americans care about this in some way. I love how foreigners think they know something about us...well you don't and Ukraine can use that symbol all they want as it is fitting for the situation.
That's appealing to pathos.

Have you even read anything from Russians who moved to the US?

It seems these Russians have the impression that in the US, everybody puts on a polite face and superficial talk, but never open up about their true feelings to a stranger, let alone go out of their way to help them, with exceptional cases often highlighted by the sensationalist press, as if the deed were a merit of the whole country.

While in Russia, they claim that friends are intimately familiar with each other's lives and when asked for help, move to do just that, without stipulations and protests.

In the 20th century, Americans used to be known for their sincerity, but it seems they've not managed to retain the one distinguishing characteristic which set them apart from others.

I've been living in the US for over twenty years, as a non-Russian Asiatic foreigner. I was never discriminated against for my race, but the people here consistently mistreated and shunned me, long before I developed political views. And then they wonder why foreigners defile their monuments and show disrespect at their memorials.

The sad truth is, nobody is willing to fully assimilate into the American way of life, most people migrated so they could gain influence and dictate how things ought to be. America has already been carved into racial blocs, they just don't realize it yet. The logical outcome of this situation will be an unprecedented bloody civil war based on class and racial hatreds, more so if Britain gets involved. Last I checked, a survey reported that half of Americans are already anxiously anticipating it.

Somewhere in their bag of symbols and badges (Ukraine) is one of these with a sword going up from the underground.

And what superior system would that be?

It seems the only thing that youve done is used a broad brush to make way too many strokes about a country and its people

Everyone says it is a rattlesnake. OK. Are there rattlesnakes in the 13 colonies? I have only seen them in AZ. Never anywhere else. When did they survey the south?

When the current Ukraine situation took off there was a weird amount of Libertarians who were in support of aiding them in their little war. The weird part being that a lot of the "Libertarians" were the anti-war kind. Apparently, there are exceptions.

The reason I bring that up is because the first time I saw the snake on a Ukrainian flag was from so-called libertarians showing support for Ukraine.

Man, oh man, you really ARE a russian troll.

What's the big deal about adopting a symbol attributed to revolution away from a parent state, when the new user of the symbol is doing just that?

As for corruption and so on, yeah, of course there's troubles in the Ukrainian state. They've only been freed from Russian control and corruption for 8 years, and have been cleaning up since. Do you think the US was free from corruption right as soon as the documents were signed?

Tldr, try a little harder to hide the fact that you're looking for anything to throw your stink at, it gets tiring reading obviously over sensationalized bs from you.
