FAA cameras off line on east coast-heavy military presence

I'm not sure what to think of this; 90% of cameras have been off line since yesterday and there's a huge military presence in the skies.

The FAA has shut down 90% of their east-facing cameras all across America.
'Tons of reports off Jets and Chinooks, none of which are on Flight radar./ex]

Meanwhile, somebody reported seeing lots of military helicopters flying over rural Mississippi, headed north

I live near Ft indiantown gap which is a small army helo base. I havent noticed any increase in air traffic in regards to military helo ops in my neck of the woods.

Actually aircraft tracking systems don't got offline except
sometimes when reporting to GPS. I would rather the guys
/gals in the warbirds stay cloaked if a delicate op is ON..

Thank you! Sometimes this kind of information is a bunch of hyperbole, and sometimes it ends up being a 'heads up' kind of thing, so I thought I'd get some input.

The article says it's FAA weather cameras that went offline; I have no idea if that makes a difference.

I'm hoping Sky 727 or Zaphod will chime in and say this is perfectly normal.

Perhaps Underwater Nuke 50-100 miles off the coast. The Nuke would cause a tsunami .5-1 mile high (depending on nuke size) and located between NY and DC.

Not sure who GRYHK03 is but they took off from VA beach, dropped down to 650 feet at 150 knots and did multiple circles around Marine Corp Airstation Cherry Point.

Could be a cyber warfare drill where a government sponsored outfit is tasked with hacking government systems

I mean… for sure we’re heading towards WW3 and/or a limited exchange with Russia & China

But I don’t see why they would be responsible for anything like this it’s almost impossible either would sneak a fleet or landing force though, I’d rate that next to impossible

Ok what else is there? Hiding a big UFO encounter? Seems totally illogical given the millions who live on that coast

Ok but why would you log in to an FAA webcam to look out for a submarine across several thousand miles of coastline

Since the sh#t show with Russia began, there have been frequent patrols off America's East coast by P-8 Poseidons. These are sub hunters, loaded with different types of sensor arrays to detect hostile submarines. Maybe they found something significant?

Just another theory, throwing it in the pot to simmer.

None of this comes as a surprise to me; I've read about threats of subs from China and Russia for decades. What I do find a little odd is when you search for articles on the subject, the majority have been 404'd.

I don't know what turning off weather cameras or a large presence of military planes would have to do with it though.
