Episode 20 - Violence

Episode 20 of the Broken Home Podcast is out now.
Some of the talking points:

The constant barrage of violence plaguing the USA.
2 quadruple shootings the other morning, is it even safe to leave your home in Philly anymore?

The Officer involved in the Uvalde school shooting, who was lit up online for looking at his phone.
A statement was released informing the public as to who it was texting him and why.

Jose Alba, an NYC bodega worker, was assaulted by an irate customer at the Bluemoon convenience store.
Mr. Alba wasn't going to be another victim. He grabbed a knife and stabbed the assailant 3 times.
While still on the scene, Mr. Alba was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder.
Was it self defense or Murder?

I saw the video and I believe it was self-defense.

I think those charges should be dropped.

Thats what im saying also.

However, someone brought up a point saying the style of knife that was used is illegal in the state.

I have no idea if that will be used against him.
Or if they are going to try to suggest that if he used a "legal knife" somehow he would had survived.
Either way, its something else to look at.

If I'm not mistaken, it wasn't his knife, it was the attackers (the guys girlfriend)...
