Yeah not looking too good for Rishi..I rarely agree with Crypt Keeper rees mogg, but he is refusing to be part of a Sunak cabinet due to his "loyalty"problem, which is a fair comment IMO.
Vote result for the first round coming up in 10 minutes(5pm).

Penny Mordant is now supposedly the front runner, don't know much about her but recent comments of hers suggest she isn't "woke."

So thats a start.

Well I was wrong again-Rishi takes Pole position!
Mordaunt in second.

Jeremy Hunt and Nadhim Zahawi are GONE baby!

Good,pair of cretins IMO.

Yep, I read that, too.

Hunt is conceding as he doesn't think he has enough support, notwithstanding the vote being secret.

I think the other dropout will be Kemi or Suella.

Breaking: I was wrong, Zahawi is out...

Disclaimer: No animals were harmed in the making of this post and I mean no disrespect to said animals.

I can't help always comparing people to animals. Not necessarily look-alikes, but the general feelz I getz.

So, just for fun, here's my take on the 8 candidates,

Kemi Badenoch

Suella Braverman

Jeremy Hunt

Penny Mordaunt

Rishi Sunak

Liz Truss

Tom Tugendhat

Nadhim Zahawi

Im not sad to see those two go at at all.
Zahawi is a greed based ego,Hunt looks like some kind of alien entity trying to appoximate what a human would look like-it nearly works but not quite-something is off.

Actaully,Penny M seems to be the only one who does not have the permenent fake smile so many politicians think is a vote winner. She looks serious, not like a used car salesman trying to get your money.
I just found out she is a Navy reservist-the only MP who is a reservist in any of the forces, and she is a member of the British Astronomical Association.

Sounds more like a "normal" person than your average career politician, which could be a good thing. And deserves respect for being a reservist.

ROFLMAO seperated at birth!

Those animal comparisons are great-Tom Tugendhat and the dog is my favorite.they look identical.

Yes, I agree. The fakeness of the others is so blatant.

Freeborn posted this about her:

Penny Mordaunt = Father a soldier and teacher. Comprehensive educated and worked her way through 6th Form and Reading University.

As close to normal as you can get. Also, she's a very good orator.

Hmm.... No Nigel Farage on that List . The ONLY MAN in England who Still Sports a Pair Between his Legs

He's not a member of The Conservative Party.
He's not an elected Member of Parliament.

He's a one-trick pony.

Plenty of people with balls over here, just very, very few of them are politicians.

She's probably the only one with anything like a 'normal' upbringing out of all of them.
She's certainly not too infected with the wokery virus....but her politics are pretty crap.

Vote for none of the above.

Why is Sunak even being allowed to enter the contest for the next PM ?

He was one of those who was fined for breaking lockdown rules. Not all those who where fined have been named. There could be other law breakers in the contest.

Questions need to be asked by the media or oposition parties.

Not defending sunak at all but I think the issue with jonhson was more his repeated denials in parliament .

Sunak also lied when he was asked if he attended the party.

Our next PM could be a proven lier. He is the vid of him lying to The House.

Johnson was a proven liar long before he became PM.

Standards aren't what they used to be.

How many of those standing for 'election' have form for financial impropriety, have misled The Commons and the electorate and are just one revelation away from being another bottom pincher?

MSM are implicit in the cover-up.
Every now and then they are fed a sacrificial lamb to satiate the public's demand for blood whilst the majority continue their nefarious activities with impunity.

Thats's why the country needs a fresh start.

Appointing Sunak ain't going to be the answer. Just sets yet another bad example.

There is also the question of his wifes tax dealings.

The party political system is no longer fit-for-purpose and certainly doesn't represent or serve the publics interests and/or well being.
The glass ceiling that holds back so many people of potential has been nothing but strengthened and reinforced over the last 30 or 40 years. Nowhere is that more evident than in Parliament.

We need reform of both electoral and parliamentary processes and procedures.

I blame my generation for a lot of it.
We had such a burning rage, we didn't want to change the world we wanted to smash it to #ing pieces.
But we grew up, got jobs, had kids and burdened ourselves with crippling mortgages.
Then we got old.....and while we weren't watching the world went to rat #....and is getting worse in every single aspect.

I'm not going to go on one my boring rantathons.....but we need change, and not the change these wokeists are trying force on us all.
