I came to a foreign country years ago due to that is where my wife's home country is. I have a few disappointments along the way, but now at my age I am most grateful I have health that can cycle Japan. My adventures here are on a website. PM if interestesd. I am not someone who is a pro at cycling, but I just hop on the bike with some prep and go. For me life is not only a challenge but an adventure in a foriegn country.Ns.

A bicycle is the most efficient machine man has ever created. The one billion bicycles in the world are a testament to its effectiveness.

And communication is the most important tool that man has. Without communication, every human life would have to start from scratch. Our current knowledge is built from the billions of lives that lived before us.

Like how music is magic, words are magic.

Even with the language barrier of a foreign land, we can still communicate with each other through body language.

To have the ableness to commute and communicate is a blessing.

The words commute and communicate both have latin origins. Com for altogether and communicat for shared.

Something we share in this world is the experience of living in it altogether.

You are truly living life.

Pre pandemic my wife and traveled a lot and I am looking forward to that again. In the spring I took a bad fall and broke my leg, so I’m recovering. Still have a business to run and that pays for the travel and hobbies. For a couple our age we do pretty much what ever we want.

Ask the mods if you can post the link!

I've found the pictures you've shared a great break from all the nonsense. I want the link too.

I am 43. Lately I have noticed that if I sit with crossed legs for extended periods of time my knees will hurt. After I stretch them out they are fine after a minute or so.

Physically I seem to be holding up ok - but what I really want to do is lay around all day while my harem of sugar babies entertain me. I cant afford it though. So I would say no.

I'm 58 and no I can not, I'm getting better though. Losing weight and eating right

I had 3rd-degree burns on both my legs when I was a kid, have had multiple surgeries on my foot and it was OK and easy to deal with. Now it's chronic pain all the time, just like my surgeon in the 80s said it would be.

I've beaten my cancer in 2019 and after my surgery, the physiotherapist managed to get me in better shape then I ever was before. I try to maintain it so health-wise I'm good. Still, I have 19 more work-years ahead of me before I can retire. Until then I can't do whatever I want.
Just hope I still can when I eventually retire... I doubt that my husbands health will allow him though...

Jesus, I can't do what I did 10 years ago. busted hips, bung knee, liver failure, heart arrhythmia, getting out of bed I have to acclimatize to the changes in position, holding on to walls to go pee, falling, busting my neanderthal skull and then suffering mild concussion - blurry vision, dizziness, and an egg on the back of my head. Mind you, I drink like a fish, that can't swim... so there's that. Memory loss, an ear infection that will not subside, think I perforated my ear drum. A life of terrible stories, once were just nuances, now nightmares.

As an immortal, God has told me to be witness. so here I am. Can I do what I want? ahhhhahah. yes and no. Slainte.

By the time you come to an age where people think you can do whatever you want, your body is in no shape to do many things you want to do. See above and probably below for proof.

'Youth is wasted on the young' someone said.

I can still do quite a bit. I stayed in shape as a steel worker.

Speaking of bikes. I love bikes. Best invention ever. I have a bicycle collection, and I ride often. I think it is going to be 104 degrees here today, so Ill have to get out there in a little bit if im going to ride today. There are islands nearby, that have dirt roads around the perimeter that I like to ride. No people on the roads, just birds, wildlife, and passing boats. I think Im down to 5 or 6 bikes now. I sold my Bianchi Zolder road bike, and one of my Cannondale Mountain bikes. I kept my 29er Lefty though. I have a big Felt Heritage Beach cruiser with fat quick brick tires I like to putt around on sometimes, and a Prodecotech Outlaw 1200 that does over 30 mph without pedaling, thats fun to pass cars with. I still have a unicycle and a french street bike from my youth, that I keep mostly as momentos.

Gotta eat good and stay active to stay in shape. Lots of salads and fresh vegetables will keep you young. Stay clear of smoking and drinking.

To be honest, from the very beginning I fought the pandemic with all my heart and soul as I watched everyone I know fall in line, stop questioning and attack me for questioning. They are all changed people to me and I can no longer connect. I feel adrift. On some levels, my life is still much the same.

I raise and show rabbits. They are my greatest passion in life. I won my first best in show and reserve in show with a Flemish Giant doe this spring. It was the result of many years hard work but a friend had to take her as I wasn't allowed to attend, being unvaccinated. No big deal, but I feel a major emptiness in life now and won't bother trying to go further.

Wanted to go back to scotland one more time before I die, but that won't happen either as I'm unvaccinated. Probably allowed to at the moment but no money but also, I'm bitter about it and won't jump through the hoops anymore.

Physically not bad for 54. Lots of strange aches and pains started up this last two years when I had none before but once I get moving in the morning it's all good. Very much like the description above of staggering to go pee holding onto the walls for stability, except without the alcohol... usually. Likely damage from hormonal changes of menopause and possibly my negative psychology more than anything. Think I'm at the use it or lose it stage in life.

I used to cycle 40k a day. It was truly a joy some days being in sync with the bike and there were days like when I wiped out, cracked my cheek bone and got a concussion rounding the last corner to my house.

Would also love to see your website and adventures.

being in my 30's, the answer is a resounding no.

I spend most of my time working for rich people to make them more money- when I'm not doing that I spend my free time trying to improve my living situation, at great expense. The peak of summer is almost here, which means I need to cut back on my expenses and begin saving for heating oil- it's going to be a rough winter with the cost of fuel where it is.

I honestly don't even know what I want to do with my life- my entire day is already used up before I even get out of bed in the morning.

Ear infections are the worst, I've got Meniere's disease, vertigo hasn't happened in over a month or so but when it does it's debilitating, still got ringing in the left ear and hearing loss, and yes constant ear infections. Hell, I can't figure out whatever I'm doing that's made it lessen.

Till I hit 50 I hardly went to the doctor at all, like 1-2 times every 5-6 years at most. LOL, now I'm just glad it doesn't hurt to take a piss.

I heard that phrase so many times before.... believe it or not, it just now hit me what it really means. To me, none-english, it always just been an expression. but yeah, 'wasted' indeed

We know all too well, that she lost her husband my Dad over 5 years ago to pancreatic cancer. He fought, hell we all fought with him for 2 years before it took him. It's brutal...

I used to drive for a living and got them in my 30's painful as hell, had them lanced a time or 2 they were that bad "butt"

Clean well with witch hazel and use aloe vera gel and rose geranium oil on a cotton ball tuck it in and leave it as long as you can.

Immediate relief seriously, I was pissed I went 10+ years without trying something so simple.
