Won’t have any of the results he is expecting. Especially if Musk did use the test drive tactic. If that is the case then anyone who test drives a vehicle will be forced to buy it. He has the money to buy it, but it comes with alot of baggage. He is better off creating his own version of twitter.

Just go to any of Biden’s and the first twenty have to be bots praising their dear leader. That’s the proof.

An alternative to twitter would be nice. Im no fan of twitter but i believe it has been very useful in getting information out when it comes to wars, conflicts, civil unrest, and areas with supressed media.

I think the downfall of twitter is inevitable once q strong competitor starts taking over.

I’m not so sure about his funding.
So much borrowed against Tesla stock.

Oddly enough someone that’s supposed to be a genius made a $44billion offer and didn’t leave enough time to do a thorough audit of the company or put stipulations in the contract to allow him to back out later.
It’s like buying a house without the deal pending the results of an inspection.
Twitter accepted his offer and will hold him to that offer.

He is now going to lose his billion dollar deposit but is going to be involved in a slam dunk breach of contract lawsuit.

that's a bad analogy, in my 60 years of life i have literally taken over a hundred new and used vehicles for test drives never forced to buy one yet.

once i was given the keys to a used 1990 olds cutlass supreme by the owner of a used car lot, he told me to drive it for a day or two, that was his mistake. i took it to three different shops for inspections. took it back with a list of problems that even though it was drivable, the problems would have cost more to repair than the car cost. he as pissed but i didn't have to buy it.

then there was once in 1980 when i was just getting started in my adult life that i was going to buy a 1978 Z28. we worked a deal out that i would make a $400 deposit to hold the car and see if i could get affordable insurance on it, i couldn't. they refused to refund it and wanted me to pick the car up, took them to court and judge ruled that even though i couldn't afford the insurance, i could still be insured so they got to keep the deposit and i wasn't forced to buy the car. less than six month later that car lot closed down. word was they had ripped so many people off that that had to disappear.

didn't you read the article there ws a 1 billion break up fee.

here is another, plus the 1 billion went both ways,

from april after he secured the funding,

Twitter Inc. and Elon Musk would each owe the other $1 billion if either walks away from the $44 billion deal they struck Monday, according to a filing detailing their merger agreement.

Mr. Musk would owe Twitter $1 billion for various reasons including if he fails to close the deal because the financing--$13 billion of debt, $12.5 billion in margin loans and $21 billion of equity he plans to provide himself--doesn’t come through.

Break-Up Fees for Elon Musk's Twitter Deal Total $1 Billion Each

plus he would have faced more problems if he had filed false regulatory reports with the feds.
no the twits at twitter blanked up and musk called them on it.

you know it, musk didn't get to be where he's at and that rich without knowing something about doing business and having people that know more about it than he does working for him.

Seems like long ago when integrity was still around. Nowadays you feel coerced into buying something you don’t necessarily need. It may be a bad analogy in your eyes, but is it really? There are many ways you can be forced to do something or buy something, and information travels fast. Welcome to the world wide web. Now you can accidentally buy at the click of a button.

Indeed.

Seems like an obvious win/win for Musk.

Either buy the platform and generate damn near passive income or expose it for the farce that it is and get it cheaper.

I suppose worst case scenario is he loses in court and has to pony up 1B cash. Even then, the damage is done.

that's why i don't purchase anything over the internet unless it's 50 bucks or less and then i go buy a gift card, never use my debit or credit card. i also don't sign anything until 100 completely satisfied with what i'm getting.

last time was 5 years ago and i'm still driving it.

The CEO Twitter says he is going to force musk to buy the company.

Dude looks and talks like a Liberal ISIS Terrorist Democrat...

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal is “willing to go to war” to make Elon Musk follow through on his $44 billion acquisition of the social media giant amid reports that the deal could be in jeopardy over the site’s handling of spam and “bot” accounts.

Or just buy it for what its really worth. What is a server on a table in a big cooled room, along with a few of Biden's "coders" worth?

He either played them or saw an opportunity when it was presented.

He will be 1 billion richer.

i think Musk did what Mr. Fox and Bruce Wayne did to get a look at the chinese businessman's books who was laundering money for the joker.

what a better way of getting a behind the curtain look at a potential enemy's play than to say you want to buy them and part of that process is opening a lot of secrets of Twitter to Mush and he proved that most of the accounts are bots.

the fact he didnt buy it means he knows for a fact it is a sinking ship

If Twitter didn’t lie and misrepresent themselves then year. Why would you try and make this about musk? What’s with the lefts obsession with things and people? They are always so ocd!

Did anyone here think Musk would part with 44 Billion for Twitter?

I for one never believed it. Honestly, how many idiots are being played by this guy?

I have to keep blocking promotions of this guy daily on Facebook, yet, they are still coming.

I don't, and never will understand, why some put people on such high pedestals. People like Musk, Trump, Obama. What is says to me is you don't think you're as good as them. And that's pretty sad. They lie, fart, puke, make jerks of themselves, and take dumps, just like you and me. The rest is just better window dressing.

Of course, he will without the deal the company is through. Its way overvalued for its profits and even evaluation of that is nowhere near a billion dollar company. Twitter has yet to make a profit. For example, it had a net loss of $221.4 million in 2021. He just needs to let it crash and pick it up on a fire sale.

Elon Musk had no intentions of buying Twitter whatsoever. Musk is a glorified conman who seems to have fooled a few crypto bros and people with a raging hard-on for some dystopian future where we have microchips in our brains connected to computers.

I hope the courts force Elon to got through with the deal to teach him a lesson.

Elon WANTS TO GO TO COURT. Disclosure, will force Twitter to disclose what they are currently reluctant to divulge.
Sorry brother., like it or not, Twitter will be purchased by Musk.
