What did I get right that was creepy? Better yet, what did I get wrong? Will I get a straight answer? I often feel the night my eye opened there was a clandestine element waiting to see if I was going to stay. Plans were made that evening to travel east. I would absolutley love for you to break my mind. PM me if you want. a reply to: KellyPrettyBear

A lot of people with autism (like me) and/or people with synthenasia experience
these sort of things. These sort of things may be completely
independent of being abducted.

Thats very similar to some of the conlcusions the Havard psychiatrist reached-that the abduction experiences may have been experienced as "real" but in some cases may be more akin to a spritual visionary experience. He also did not discount the idea of abductions being some kind of interdimensional phenomena-so far outside the realms of our knowledge, but not less real.

I am of opinion that there is "something" going on,but we are not at the level to be able to understand-or it may be that we are not cabable of understanding what we see-in situations like that our brains sort of "fill in the blanks" to make something resembling a thing familiar to us.

As an example-If we saw a being which exists in say,the 7th dimension-we only have the capacity to see/experience in 3 dimensions-so we would see an incomplete version of this 7th Dimensional being.
That incomplete version would look very different to the complete version-which would only be visible to other 7th dimensional beings.

So the craft, and beings witnessed by abductees may be something very different to what they see.

That makes it even more disturbing IMO

All 'this kind of stuff' is so distracting.

This is the thing people should be most concerned with;

That's fine. Especially if it is bad for you. I will say, I could use some help with it though. Maybe consider me if you think of anything that may help?? Thanks for all your replies. Here is a mermaid I made. files.abovetopsecret.com... a reply to: KellyPrettyBear

That is one AWESOME mermaid!

For the record,

Native people's often live with 'this stuff' their entire lives,
it's just part of being human. In the West, people get more
excitable than they need to sometimes..

give too much attention to 'weirdness' just make it worse.

And you conflated yourself with Astro.

The Astro topic make me unsubscribe from most any thread
where that name is used.

yup.

well, you did ask what you had gotten 'right' and 'wrong'.

That's usually what 'A' or one of his worshippers would
want me to discuss.

there's no right or wrong with personal experience.

As for my own experience, I went looking for one thing,
and found something that I did not want to find,
something that no human would want to find.

It just took some adjustment.

I appreciate you. I only ask because I'm interested in your perspective. I agree there is no right or wrong when it comes to my experience. It just happens. Like I said before, if you think your experience can help with mine I'm all ears. Likewise I would only hope to help others. I kind of feel like I also was looking for something else and got what I got. I really loved music and it turned out to be something different. I am too curious. Thank you again. a reply to: KellyPrettyBear

Not a criticism at all, Kev, but H.P. Lovecraft would adore how you worded that post.

“What we did see - for the mists were indeed all too malignly thinned - was something altogether different, and immeasurably more hideous and detestable. It was the utter, objective embodiment of the fantastic novelist’s 'thing that should not be'.”

Nice quote there.

In short, I learned the true place of humans in the great
chian of life.

It's like in 'hitchhikers guide' - the "perspective vortex'.

Now fascinatingly, the people i'm researching with these days
fully understand my perspective and concurs with it.

I'm not the only one to know.. there are various people who
know pretty well..

so that has been good for me personally.

A large number of UFO experiencers, especially abductees were
abused as children or suffer PTSD for some other reason.

I was referring to for example children, who were beaten
by their parents, were much more likely to experience
paranormal experiences or abduction experiences.

Do you have any quantification of these statements (how much more likely) or is it more anecdotal?

Having trouble sleeping because of some of the replies to this post. HorseRenoir's posts were removed way late to "not cause thread drift". "his" profile pic deleted. only 3 total posts in his stats. My question about what is a BT never answered. He also said " AstrO alluded to men in white, so to speak" What does this even mean? I was also told I "got one thing right" by KellyPretty Bear, accused of following said AstrO and then told there is no right or wrong when I asked about it. Apparently, AstrO's followers ask about what they are right or wrong about??? When researching for this Asssstro I come up with nothing. Some of the other comments completely ignore my OP. My quote about my dad's wrath was not because I was abused in any way. I loved my dad. He loved me. He woke up for work at 3 in the morning and we had a loud alarm on the door. I respected him. I was not abused. There was no ptsd from him or anyone else in my family. From my breakthrough experience and the people surrounding it maybe. Here are my questions. What is AstrO? What is BT?

the question is was it a MILAB or the real thing

AstrO made allusions to men in white, so to speak.

and it makes one wonder how long these odd craft are watching us people who get visits from time to time.

its like Alexa, how does it know to turn on when it hears its voice if it isnt always on.

i still think the BT's or most of them ARE human

its the orbs and other odd light based craft, or at least it seem like they are light based

Now there's a topic from the past, and one I don't enjoy.

I must concur, there certainly do seem to be military abductions.

There are also 'missing time consciousness abductions' where the
robotic meat brain keeps doing it's thing, but the 'essence of
consciousness awareness' a 'current' of sorts gets redirected to
(apparenlty) a different space-time.

I think that 19 times in 20, if there's a 'true abduction' and
it's not a milab, that's what happens.

There have been recorded instances, where people just go
'frozen' and think they are in some exotic world or ship..
but they've gone 'comatose' to outward view.

Now Astro... ugh.

As I've said before, he did get one thing right.. and it's
down right creepy... I've spent years on that one right
thing.

I had to, to understand my own BTUFO case.

And I'm not going to talk about it.. it would break
people's minds.

Sometimes I wonder, if it's not just a game to make one feel more important, you know a little mystery can go along way to appear interesting.
When someone does not answer you, he probably can't.
the kindergarten game of "i know but wont tell", just gets a little more sophisticated, trying to make you feel inferior by implying you wouldn't be able to understand anyway.

These online shenanigans are certainly not worth loosing sleep over

That said ATS is a treasure trove of information considering this journey, it just takes a lot of sifting.

Oh and BT are Black Triangles, and Astr0 is the moniker of a poster with a pretty outthere Theorie...

Ok.... you've confused a couple things here.. I can set it straight.. I wan't
ignoring you.. I just woke up.

1) I may have conflated you with that A**** worshipper --- my bad.

2) A**** was this individual from a number of years back, who got a lot
of people all excited that he had some 'insider knowledge' about UFOs
and to this day, there are people who buy his horse shid. I personally
tracked him down in the dark net, to a Russian UFO religion.. now i'm
not saying he was that guy, nor that he was promoting that guy..
but I found solid evidence of a link.. or so I thought. Im sure someone
could provide a link to his posts archived somewhere.. I won't.. there
was no value in his posts from my perspective.. he only caused harm
in my perspective. I might be wrong.. nobody died and made me god.

3) The thing about being abused was due to you saying how angry your
father would be with you in your post... but I was no assuming anything.
In my own life, my father being really angry with me, might man he
was preparing to kill me. (see, I have bias too ... we all do).

4) BT stands for 'black triange'. A very common type of 'UFO' BTUFO is
a very common abbreviation.

Any other questions?

Thank you for the link. To throw in my 2 cents, I think the paper you linked is a bit sloppy and their numbers are difficult to interpret. LeLeiuvere based the study off the original Ring and Rosen study (which also has a host of problems with bias and failure to control for confounding variables), but instead of doing a statistical analysis on each element of the HEI questionnaire individually, they aggregated all of the categories together. This makes me suspect that several of the individual elements did not achieve statistical significance as claimed in the original Ring and Rosen study. I could not find the original questionaire that Ring and Rosen used for the HEI study, but you can see in their paper that the greatest magnitude difference is in "Negative Home Atmosphere" followed by "Neglect." The sexual/physical abuse categories are much close together in ranking.
