General George Patton and President Trump

I was watching some youtube videos on General George Patton. While viewing, I realized that the General had some similar foundations to President Trump. Gregarious, superb tactics, inspirational, motivational, extremely intelligent, and being outspoken. President Trump went to the New York Military Academy, and General Patton went to West Point Military Academy.
And for those that live under bridges and rocks, this is not the Mud Pit.

I don't know much about Trump but Patton was brilliant and likely killed after the war to prevent him from running for President. He ended the war by saying "we fought the wrong enemy". That message would not have played well to the millions who had given so much to end rule of Imperial Germany and Japan. Read his comments about displaced persons and communism, pretty eye-opening. Patton only realized the extent to which politics controlled everything after slapping a soldier who when he was a cadet would have been shot as a deserter. The press set out to destroy him and did a pretty fair job at ruining a sterling reputation. Eisenhower held him back when he could have taken Berlin but it had been promised to the Soviets as a war prize. Soviet prisoners who were "liberated" were sent to the gulags as gratitude for their suffering. German POW's were also used as slave labor by France and Russia for over a year after the war was over. Patton would have complained loudly about all these things which is why they had to silence him.

New York military school is a pay for boarding school. It is in no way equivalent to that of West Point which is entirely based off of merit.

If you ever get the chance to pay a visit to the Patton museum in Fort Knox, KY, you should go!

I grew up only 20 minutes away from it (in Elizabethtown) and so it became a field trip destination on more than one occasion, it’s so very worth it. The man was a war hero several times over and has been effectively erased from most of the public school history books, although I never learned why until later in adulthood.

If Trump was such a genius, why did he have his lawyer Michael Cohen go around to all of Trump's former schools and threaten them with massive lawsuits unless they buried his SAT scores and GPAs?
