OMG. It's June 30 which means the contest ends tomorrow. Surely I have one more story to write, one with a message this time. I enter trance and wait when the ghost of George Carlin appears before me saying I got your story here T, listen up.

It's over, detach and don't give a damn. Just watch and be amused as we circle the drain. Earth will survive but we will not. It's over son. Our time here can be summed up in two easy words. Those two words are just this simple, so tell everyone.

OH. As an addendum to that story I add this old song by Tom Lehrer. It was vaguely floating around in my brain in writing the OP but failed to materialize until just now.

So for any who happen upon this story as it sinks down the list of new topics here is Mr. Lehrer singing ''We Will All Go Together When We Go.
