Hi ATS,

Some of you may be aware of Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons & L Ron Hubbard.. They're each famous in their own way, for slightly different things - but they all came together in the service of one grand adventure into the dark side of magick..

Crowley was a degenerate, hardcore occultist who was highly skilled, evil to the core, the kind of guy who would even permit demonic powers to fully possess him (within the 'safety' of the magical seal written on the floor) during exotic 'workings' (the technical term for 'rituals'...) He was known as 666 in terms of his 'initiatic number', by which he was referenced in lodge document shorthand. He was bisexual, hedonistic, highly intelligent, and both encouraged & performed disgusting sex rituals on a regular basis (including bestiality - encouraging a goat to # a woman who was using her back as the altar for his 'working' while this 'tupping' was going on). All of this was done as part of his overall thematic approach to magick, which was in essence, in his hands, diabolism - literally. He played to the crowd & some people think he was just an eccentric weirdo with stage panache - but the truth is far darker.

Jack Parsons was a rocket scientist who founded JPL Laboratories in Pasadena, California, but despite extremely high intellect (certifiable genius) he was wrapped up in the occult to an extreme degree. Like Crowley, this made him an eccentric weirdo too. JPL actually stage a Halloween party each year in honour of their founding father, being fully aware that he was a hardcore occultist who gave his life to the cause of both rockets, and demons.

L Ron Hubbard is known as the douchebag who founded Scientology.. He was said to have channelled some of his writings, but the rest he cobbled together from bad sci-fi & some ancient myths & legends. He too was into the occult, and as the founder of an entirely new religion which totally went against the established global faith community by making it a 'pay to play' kind of gig. We've all heard about the ridiculous 'secret knowledge' which they spout, including many of us being reincarnated souls of a tribe of space aliens who crashed on Earth, before an evil emperor threw them all into a volcano. Or somesuch nonsense. He played occult games with Jack Parsons on a regular basis, but he was tagging along somewhat when it came to the super dark shenanigans.

Anyway.

In 1904, Crowley, the Beast 666 (his own choice of honorific), decided to reach out to contact an alien/demonic entity, he was deliberately seeking an 'alien' life form, and he devised something called the Alamantrah working as the means by which he would summon the entity/entities. Indeed, he worked on his ritual until it was 'just right', then went ahead & summoned a being which came at his call, referring to itself as 'LAM', a Tibetan word meaning 'Way', or 'Path'. The entity then proceeded to splurge out a whole book through Crowley as a channel, which ended up being titled 'Liber Al', the 'Book of the Law'. This book was truly diabolical, I do not recommend that you read it, it makes one feel somewhat tainted to even read the words from a few of the pages. 'Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the Law' is the famous preface to the volume - no rules, be evil, it's okay. LAM claimed that a new Age of Horus was to begin, and that his channeled book would be the scriptural foundation for a new & revivified Humanity. And LAM with his buddies would be along for the ride.

You see, what Crowley did, I tentatively believe, is that he fulfilled Biblical prophecy directly, by opening the door to the bottomless pit, the Abyss, out of which LAM & his ilk ascended, with the power of flight, a face somewhat like a human, and a sting in their tail (I believe this represents severe deception). These things were not aliens - they were fallen demonic creatures, manifesting a vaguely humanoid body/face (they aren't able to manifest as angelic beings any more, they re feeble in comparison to their original state) & equally, they form the vessels they travel in, both from the Materia Prima, the etheric substrate of the universe - using psychic means to telekinetically generate their bodies, their craft, to maintain their existence in this material world, and to endow the vessel with means of propulsion which rely on spiritual principles of high magic, rather than conventional technology. In the scripture it says that these beasts have the power to harm men, but not to kill them, and that those exposed to their sting would even potentially seek after death due to the torment, but that they would not find it, the torment lives on unabated for most of them.

This open door to these evil alien/demonic creatures, which cause so much torment in our world, yet which manage to remain hidden due to their advanced psycho-spiritual etheric technology, was further widened & the connection to their original domain strengthened, they were granted more power, after Jack Parsons & L Ron Hubbard went out into the high California desert in 1948 to complete the 'Babalon' working, a magickal working of equal power to Crowley's original efforts, which strengthened their connection to this world, enabling them to act & interact with humans more effectively in the material world (whereas before they had likely been far more ethereal in nature). So basically, between Crowley & Parsons/Hubbard, these #ers literally poisoned our world with a vermin so appalling that it can barely be put into words. The impact of the actions of these dark magicians has been incalculable, and I have come to the conclusion that even the white hat magic which opposes such fiends is necessary in the grand scheme of things, to somehow restore some greater degree of order over the various intermingling planes of reality which interact & intersect on the basis of our world as an axis point, with the Anima Munde force being nurtured by such people, repairing the spiritual atmosphere of certain places where evil black hats have corrupted the fabric of our reality.

As a Christian, I do not condone the frivolous use of magic, and from my perspective we all should go directly to God for the miracles we need to see in our lives. But I can certainly understand what motivates true white hat magic orders to operate skillfully in this world, knowing the kind of dark, twisted, evil # we're up against. And as ever, I will state for the record that my God is a God of mercy, grace, justice & forgiveness, calling us to humble service in His name. I don't believe in eternal conscious torment for those who simply believe a different way from my own set of beliefs - Hell is reserved for those who want to be there, I am convinced.

If you're ever in need, don't pick up a grimoire - pray for guidance through a direct revelation from God, & seek out a positive, Holy Spirit-filled church instead. It's better than the alternative. We are living in days of great trial, and we have a duty to stand on the side of righteousness, acting with justice, mercy & humility in all our dealings, exposing & uprooting evil wherever we find it. And if you've been tormented by the Greys in the past, that advice is even more critical. Those abominable, diabolical creatures cannot abide the Name, Power & Presence of Jesus, and will flee from you when you start to stand against them in prayer.

Cheers, FITO.

Hinduism, which goes back 6000 years in the form of the Vedas
(2000 years older than Judeo-Christianity)

has many good-hearted people.. and many stories about their
gods defeating demons.

Are good-hearted Hindus (over a billion of them) who call out
to their gods for help...as would be called by many christians
--- devil worshippers?

I mean, the devil wasn't even invented as such until around 100 AD,
now yes, in Job (around 550 BC there was an accuser, who strictly
followed God's commandments to torment Job, to test him.. but
this was not a figure of evil.

So if demons were being cast out/opposted/killed 4000 years
before Christiantiy even came to exist..

Do you think that good people with good hearts can call out
to God successfully, regardless of whatever their culture has
taught them about God?

I mean, the Pope said that athiests were all saved too LInk

I just want to understand your assertion here.

the various intermingling planes of reality which interact & intersect on the basis of our world as an axis point

Either Crowley and co did something godlike and moved an unrelated string into the earth axis and created the inbalance, or that string was cut off by some ancient magic which created the imbalance. If you say they only opened a door, I'd wager a guess and say the latter. earth and the string you refer to are naturally connected and have been shut off on purpose(not a noble one), you can't sever natural connections and think it wont affect your reality in a bad way...

Just for completeness
The liber AL also states:
"Every man and every woman is a star"
And
"Love is the law, love under will,"
These are the core principle, if you act accordingly I don't see your demonic projection.

Micheal Aquino in another on the list that has given themselves to the dark side. Founder of the Temple of Set, high up in military intelligence, promoted pedophilia, one report that he was involved in the adrenochrome trade. Might not be as famous as the others, but developed a strong reputations around these mystic practices.

In someways, gotta give anyone who walks into the unknown to explore new frontiers some credit, can be a risky place where many don't make it back. As for how some of these rituals descend into depravity, horror and torture, not surprised that you will find some entities reflecting these qualities there.

With some of the stories of human sacrifice rituals around for a while, sounds like some have been able to make a connection with the spiritual, afterlife, light at the end of the tunnel realm for a bit. As for any specifics and technicalities about it, I don't know? Never got into it and don't want to either. Do bad staff and will find bad things.

When stuck traveling through the darkest depths of the human soul, Jesus helped. He did not take the pain away or present a quick path out. But there was some comfort in knowing that some compassion does exist somewhere.

You know it’s funny how so many people have their history askew. Crowley, upon discovering that Parsons and Hubbard were taking his “moonchild” poem literally, scoffed at the idea and insisted that their pursuit through their efforts was naive, ignorant, and futile.

The rest is history.

You heard the story about the atheist demonologist right?

Where they didn't believe in demons, but did the ritual anyway,

and one showed up, and shocked thier pants off?

Sometimes even an incompetent can have success, even if the
ritual is complete horse puckey in terms of innate value.

Most people's chances of success are greatly bolstered with a
little shamanic BS dog and pony show.

Did you know that some early christians used magic wands?

Maybe do some independent research on Aleister Crowley. Did you know that he was listed as an agent of the British Government when he first came to the US, and that his main goal was to honey-pot Americans in power so that the crown can have leverage over the US.

He said he was evil and wicked, but can anyone really show any proof of these claims? We had some pretty nasty killers and maniacs running around during his lifetime, and nothing he did even came close to them. So how is he wicked and evil?

Crowley, much like Blavatsky, was nothing but show. The question is for what ends?

wands don't work.

spells don't work.

the subcounscious mind works, convinced that the wand and the spell work, reshaping the reality to match the expected result.

Good observation.

Now Blavatsky pushed social darwinism and the superiority of
certain races over other races.

UGH.

Lots of politics and power mongering in occult groups.

And yes.. I nearly just ASSUME that any sizable occult group
is infiltrated by the government, to this very day.

Yeah, the so-called "Christians" who presided over native American genocide, mass slavery, and colonialism for 4 centuries, as well before burning scientists at the stake have no monopoly on God, if anything through their actions they have a monopoly on the devil through their actions.

Of course, not by any means all of them. The GREAT John Brown was, and many Quakers were real Christian who died to free black slaves, and lived and died like Christ, not those hypocrites enslaving people while pretending to be Christians.

It's about love, justice, and treating human beings right, NOT JUST DOGMA, that any jackass can pretend they believe.

You're absolutely right. Crowley did condemn what Parsons and Hubbard were doing and thought Parsons was being conned by Hubbard, which turned out to be true!. And BTW, Crowley, however, his rep is certainly problematic was NOT a satanist or black magician as many just say without any real knowledge.

Very nicely said.

American theoretical physicist and Nobel laureate, Steven Weinberg once famously said, "With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil - that takes religion."
