James 4:12
Verse Concepts
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor?
Source: bible.knowing-jesus.com...
Your bible verse of “ who are we to judge “ only applies to those who believe that book to be infallible & divine by god’s direction.
It would be the same as me convicting you of a violation according to Chinese laws .. , unless you live under a law , it does not pertain to you .
I want you to think before you go on the attack .
LOL, not on the attack at all. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of using bible verses to condemn praying, and then finding you aren't a Christian, and don't believe in the divinity of the Bible puts a bit of icing on that cake. See, if you use the Bible to make your point, you open yourself up to the other passages in the book. And while "judge not, lest ye be judged yourself", isn't really a quote from the bible, the one I listed kind of says the same thing.
I don't grasp how this man's prayers bother you, but that's something you will have to live with. It seems much like a SJW move, but where would the world be without Nancys worrying about what that guy is doing and how offended someone must be because of it. Have a great day and God Bless.
I care , because this rube of coach is acting as if he is a Christian martyr & doing gods will , when the moron can’t even comprehend simple teachings that Jesus taught that state what the coach is doing is wrong according to the very bible the coach is hiding behind .

But it’s obvious that you do care. I love how you use your personal interpretation of scripture that you openly state you don’t believe in, to try and drive a wedge in the Christian way of thinking.
What is it that you are trying to accomplish here? Is it that you dislike Christianity so much that you feel obligated to attack the manner in which someone prays? Using the words of Christ to belittle Christians is a fools errand.
I personally think that you, and others like you, enjoy baiting people you consider a “soft target”. That’s exactly how you perceive us. After all is said and done, all you do is strengthen our faith.
Enjoy yourself while you can, you will eventually have to account for your actions. And it won’t be too long in coming.
I could careless if he prays or not , but he does not get to hide behind Christianity as a hero when his actions are opposite of Jesus’s teachings.

I think you are confused. The coach and his prayer don't offend me, don't hurt my feelz, and don't require my approval or condemnation. He may believe something totally different than the Bible being followed 100%. As a person who has lived on this earth for a while, and experienced a few things, I have opinions that don't flow totally with the Bible, yet I believe in God and consider myself a Christian. But I don't need your validation to my beliefs, anymore than the Coach does.
It's obvious this offends you, and loads up that sand in your vajayjay. Maybe you could make a sign and protest this man's house or something equally as ignorant. Either way, we all understand you are angry that this man prayed in public and the SCOTUS affirmed his right to do so. Jesus would not be angry at this man, he would love him, just as he loves you. Why not be more like Jesus?

Says nothing about genuflecting & theatrical mechanics . Jesus was telling you that when you are in the presence of another human being you are seeing God , because we all come from god .

Matthew 18:20
Your logic states that solo prayer does not draw god’s attention, but only when two or more are gathered ?
Who taught you your theology, because it is heavily flawed . Im sure you are sola scriptura lol
I could careless what your theology is , because it does not reflect anything in authority or authenticity of the worlds biblical scholars. Your a neo evangelical & that is strange to me , but you are free to makeup any theology you like .. you are not free from taking criticism of it when you make it public in all it’s hole filled theories.

Nope . try again .
Read Matthew 6: 5-8 , then look in the mirror & tell yourself the coach is a soft target by me or anyone else . I did not kneel on a football field & make a scene in prayer . That coach wanted to make a scene by doing the opposite of what your Jesus taught you in your Christian bible from the first gospel of Matthew .

You evangelicals are all the same .
If you want to play Christian, at least worship in a way that is traditional to the ancient Church Fathers , you know the ones closest in history to the actual Jesus movement… but Im sure you got it all figured out . Lol
Jesus said to be perfect as his Father is perfect, so I suggest you follow everything in your bible to a T ,
Wide is the path that leads to destruction & many are on it and narrow is the path that leads to salvation & few are on it .
So let me get this straight, you call yourself Christian, but pick & choose what you agree with in the bible ?
Ive been through the bible up & down from personal study to academic bouts for 30 plus years & Im very far from a young person today , but in no part of the bible does it say that you can disbelieve parts of it.
As a matter of fact Jesus taught that the old testament ( the law ) was decisive & binding .
So when Jesus declared that he was fulfillment of the law .. Were does that sit with your ideas of things you disagree with in the bible ?
Or are you ready to admit that Jesus was gone for over 300 years before one single bible was transcribed, yet we have the book of Matthew that is universally agreed upon to be written only 70-90 years after Jesus was crucified & then shortly after resurrected & then disappeared into heaven .
So how is the oldest book of the New Testament Matthew not easily accepted as being the most valid in what Jesus taught for you to understand that the coach is a hypocrite & a fool . That is what this thread is about .
In regards to sand in a vjjayjay .. grow up ok .
You obviously know little about your faith & that is ok.
What if the quarterback of that high school was Muslim & required all his football games he plays in go on an hour pause for evening call to prayer ?
Would you be screaming for the SCOTUS to defend him ? Doubtful you would.
I have to leave for Skeet league in a bit & I hope you stop trembling in anger ok .
Have a grand evening.. nite nite neophyte
Im older than you by many years . Your attitude is that of a spoiled brat . Discourse is good & I won’t call you names . That is for you evangelical types to engage in . Why so angry ? Being wrong is ok , but you don’t need to get your knickers all sticky .

As a staunch evangelical .....Bwahahaha, you tickle me. Look junior, you can be whatever you want to be. And I hope you enjoy all of it. But you don't know me, you don't know sh!t about me, and your sanctimonious pompous arrogant dickface attitude isn't one I'd enjoy conversing with. I know who I am, I know my faults, and I have no concerns about what my answers will be should I be lucky enough to end up in front of the great white throne. (the one in heaven, not the bathroom)
I have to go tremble in anger now, so converse with others, you aren't worth my time.
but networkdude you are worth my time , isn’t that what Jesus would do ? Turn a cheek & try to love those you disagree with ? Just what type of bible do you have anyway. You being a Christian should be concerned about standing in the Light as a witness to the kingdom of heaven through Christ .

Now I understand you. You invite Christians to respond to a post so you can trash their values. Must be great fun for you.
You never intended honest discussion, did you? You despise the fact that we have found something that you, with all your esoteric scholarship have not. You try to come at us anyway you can, even attempting to use the words of our beloved savior against our beliefs in him.
The same book you attempt to use against us is full of warnings against people like you. It has all been foretold.
I have never heard of any biblical scholar who would agree with your understanding of the passages you quote. Perhaps you can point to a few.
It would seem to me, that you have some type of grievance with God and his people, and that you think you found a chink in the armor. This couldn’t be further from the truth. No one cares how you interpret the Bible you don’t believe in. There are many more reliable sources than you.
Now it’s time for my questions. Why are you personally intent on calling out someone’s religious beliefs? What is your agenda here. What exactly are you trying to prove?
Response from MeatHookReality:
So you are saying there are no biblical scholars that translates Matthew 6: 5-8 as it is stated ? Do you think doing the opposite of what Jesus taught in Matthew as your Christian values ? If yes then you bet I have issue with hypocrites. Tell us all what Matthew 6: 5-8 is really saying. It must be a new & hidden translation that only you understand. Did god personally tell you in a dream that Matthew 6: 5-8 is opposite In it’s words ?
You Christians really are all over the place & I feel bad that your faith is so strong that you disagree with Jesus’s teachings. Matthew 6: 5-8 is very simple to understand.
The real issue is that this website is a filled with Christians with all kinds of broken theology & thoughts, and you seldom get called on the rug about the absurdity of it .
Im the right one here in this context . Your want to be right does not change the bible or reality..
Welcome to meat hook reality .
You got the floor Saint Topcraft explain Matthew 6 to me the lost wicked man , am I not the type Jesus said to help the most or are you clutching your pearls ?
Im far far from your enemy.. Im real accountability, now stand & deliver with your theory on Matthew 6: 5-8 … I can’t wait & bless your endeavor.
Do you know how insane you sound ? I can’t think for you . Good luck
I I responded to you in the above post .

What a bitter person you are, and self righteous to boot.
There is nothing that I could tell you that would satisfy you. I suggest you find yourself a Catholic Church and question the pastor, he would know much more than I do. I’ve already found my answers.
Yes, it’s obvious that you are the type that needs help the most, and I will pray for you. I don’t see you as wicked person, I see you as being misled. Most likely by some event in your life and your own mind. I’m not angry with you for anything you are saying about me either. Talking with your type saddens me more than anything else. Your heart is locked.
It’s not my place to feed your superior attitude either. I’m open to discourse, but not abuse. Several in this post seem to have disengaged with you because of your attitude, I urge them not to.
I’m not an evangelist, believe what you want. We will all face judgement eventually. I’m ready, how about you?
Im still waiting for that list of biblical scholars & Patristics that explain Matthew 6: 5-8 as YOU SHOULD pray in public in a big spectacle instead of what it says .
