Just a thought everyone may want to consider. Sometimes you can't share the truth directly for...security reasons. But say you wanted to share a message for those that would understand, without compromising security. You replicate the original image (or video or audio). Basically, it is a mock-up of the original. It isn't the real thing, making it impossible to trace to the real thing (or person, or a location), but the message is the same.

I'm convinced some comms work this way.

This quote doesn’t say what he wants you to think it does. Let’s break it down. If we take out the -in fact, for sure- the sentence becomes “It is extremely unlikely that I’m not going to be here beyond January 2025.” Or, written a different way, “It is extremely likely that I’m going to be here beyond January 2025.”

A person as educated as he is wouldn’t likely make that mistake unintentionally, in my opinion.

That could be. But it is a reminder that, right now, it is impossible to know exactly what is true and what is not.

There is no real need for us to currently know, as much as we might want to. We aren’t running the show. The people that are running the show are under no obligation to explain it in detail as we go.

The communications up to this point may serve simply to show us the direction, to introduce the players, to prepare us, so that when something undeniable and specific does happen we won’t be freaked out. Instead, at that time, we will understand, because we’ve been thinking about it and made ready.

It’s “future proves past,” not “prove everything as we go.”

Think of watching a movie. The general conflict and goals are laid out. Stuff may happen of uncertain meaning. There is foreshadowing and false leads. But every plot point isn’t explained and justified as it happens. Hopefully, at the end, there is that moment of understanding where it all makes sense. We see that some things were significant and some were not. We see that the resolution has evolved out of a reasonable distillation of what has come before, but probably not exactly how we expected.

Just as one person may explain a movie to another who doesn’t quite get it, that is what we are being prepared for. But even the person who gets it doesn’t fully get it until the end.
