Very likely. But then again maybe they call the bluff and realize she’s just a person doing there job and doesn’t have it in them to pull the trigger… they take the gun and the tables are turned.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s lots of scenarios I can think of where a firearm would be a perfect tool to resolve the situation.

But everyone carrying a gun for protection is definitely not a solution to all the worlds problems… as some like to claim.

I agree! she should have wound her window down and got out of the car and pepper sprayed the bejeebus out of the inside.

If I Uber drove there would be a mini can of spray paint in the drivers door and if any conflict arose the passenger would have a bright purple eye patch to help police identify them.

Just my two cents worth. I’ve never experienced the stuff but would bear spray have encouraged those ladies to disembark smartly?

Couple small towns in the 1980's mandated the head of household own a firearm, property crime disappeared almost overnight.

Is it a perfect solution, no of course not which is why we have the second and have laws that outline what is an acceptable use of said weapons.

Jefferson once said "An armed society is a polite society" I think this rings true now just as its did then. If the likelihood of being shot for attacking someone is very high the likelihood of such attacks occurring is very low.

If that were true, then the US would be the politest society on earth… but as it happens US society seems just as rude as any other society, with a few more random shootings to boot… because of all the extra guns.
