The Marble - SN2022- non-writer

She said it was so nice to see him again. It was a fun dream they were walking down a beach picking up marbles in the sand. Then they went into an empty beach house to explore.

But her dog woke her up mid-dream at the crack of dawn. It upset her because she was enjoying the time with him, and time makes him ‘visit’ less and less.

She made her way downstairs and onto the deck to sit and watch the dogs do their thing.

She was shocked but smiled. There on the table was a marble.

Thank you! I always wanted to give these writing stories a try.
Really tough to do in 100 words though, but maybe if I start small I can grow with it.
