Sounds like you were in the mood for a casserole not a pizza... Being a Chinese year of Rat I couldn't help but take offense for all Rats sake....

See everyone and their brother think they know how to make pizza in my home state three places do just three out of thousands trying to make pizza and passing whatever it is off as pizza... shameful business all of you people learn to make it or stop it as it's not an honest day's living making it wrong and still calling it pizza.

First of all you need to club soda the dough instead of regular water proofing it over night and second of all you gotta brine soak the mozzarella for a week or your pizza is gonna suck... the sauce isn't difficult; paste, crushed tomatoes and fresh basil stirred with a wooden spoon.

The rest of the toppings are up to you; But being a purist? ONLY pepperoni... wild hair up the butt? Is the ham and pineapple as far as any sane person would go with pizza; The rest is nonsense garbage, I don't care what anyone says about it.

Finally karma is not a woman; So please, go: I am woman and roar at who told you that. You were actually thinking of the Gr33k and Roman Furies; You know it I know it everyone knows it... Which is culturally great for pizza complaints; So polish up your evil eye and look for a dude with an Italian horn necklace on; Balling up and slapping the dough around... it's likely he'll be able to make you a good pie... next time; don't kid yourself that it's really pizza and not some lame half-assed casserole... find a good pizza maker; stick with the good pizza maker

if the sauce is a bit too sweet it'll deaden the sweetness a tad but that's typically only done because the cheese wasn't brined... the salty cheese balances out the sweetness normally when it's a good pie. But no just Basil just one big leaf per regular saucepan.

Like the difference between the two Detroit pizzas is hotly debated and has been for generations; When the only difference is oil vs mayonnaise in the two recipes. But when it's a generational thing? Forget about it as the differences are worlds apart then. People have asked me the recipes for those and not going to do it as you know how the old world Mafia and food goes hand in hand; giving those out or away; Would be like ripping baby Jesus out of the manger and telling Mary to get back on the dance pole.

I'm not going to comment on the uncultured aka spoiled; But if you have a sweeter pizza? Try a cabernet; if you have one not so sweet try a bordeaux or merlot.

I love pineapple and jalapeno pizza. The hot and sweet combo is fantastic.

Squash on pizza sounds bad. I like squash ok, but the texture sometimes bothers me. That's a no.
