Potential for censorship...

Has anyone else had similar issues?
I May I was told I had to have enhanced two-tier security on my FACEBOOK account with a dead line of 10 June 2022. It originally made no sense, as the rational was I was threatened because I was pro-Abortion (utterly false) and supported Liberal causes (absolutely false).
I have tried multiple times in the last month to start the required security. It has never worked in any of the three modes. I have been told this is not a FB issue but a GOOGLE access issue.
I have had two computer professionals friends attempt to find a solution on three separate computers.

Has anyone had similar issues? Was there a solution short of deleting the old FB account? I am wondering if that is the point of this charade...running up to the mid-term election to quiet any middle of the road voters.

I haven't looked at that site in years. You'll find that to be the case with a lot of the people on here.
