Exclusive-Pixar movie Lightyear with same sex couple will not play in 14 countries

This was expected.
The Exclusive Pixar movie Lightyear which features a same sex couple and a kiss scene had been urged to censor it out and would likely get banned in 14 countries.

Unfortunately the current Western Civilized civilization is tolerating such agenda in Youth's programming.
As it was sought out by Disney CEO that they would be including many more LGBT+ characters in their movies and shows.

Not my choice for childrens programing.
Another reason in a cash strapped society to stay home.
Well done Disney/Pixar.

We are now boycotting Disney+, Disney Channel and Disney movies.

Ever since they pledged to put LGBT into ALL of their programming, even programming for the tiniest of children, we felt we had to stop all Disney products altogether. Our family was planning on a Disney trip this fall, we are now going to the mountains of Colorado.

I don't think that very young children should be exposed to the ABC's of heterosexual sex, let alone the ABC's of LGBT. To do so is to get them curious to "try" what they are being taught before their bodies and minds are mature enough to learn the ABC's of sexuality of any kind.

Once Disney pledged to add sexuality to ALL their shows, even ones that previously had zero sexuality in them with non-human cartoon characters, we felt that was immoral and could not longer support the brand.

I see that as enticing children to allow adults to sexually abuse them and not know they are being abused.

Let me know when they force you to watch it. And are they going to tape your eyes open or just use toothpicks?

If you are not down with the content, fine. If you don't want your kids to see something like that. Fine.

And guess what? Other people get to make the same choice. And again, guess what? They may not choose the same as you.

This is America. Do as you wish, but remember, others can also. And again, let me know about them "forcing" you to do something you don't want too. And that goes for all the rest of you. Isn't there a hallmark film out there for the rest of you? LOL!

I feel I must warn you that there is also a large community of homosexuals in Colorado. Even up in the mountains I've seen them kissing and being affectionate with each other. There are still some countries, where being gay is a crime punishable by death that may be more to your liking. Think of the Children!!!

Wow taking it from one extreme to another. Nowhere did The2Billies say any violence to gays is acceptable or warranted , you literally just made that up to attack him. My guess is that you don't have kids.
Kids are being bombarded with sexual images and suggestions on youtube/tv/netflix etc at a very young age as there is no such monitoring or rating anymore. You really think that it's appropriate for 2-13 year old's to watch hetero/gay sex scenes?? This is not normal ,and it's certainly not moral, but then society has been purposely regressed , for the last few decades, by Soros/Gates etc to further their agenda. This is purely planned by the globalists, in conjunction with corporations, to destroy the traditional foundations and stability of communities and families.
They groom the kids, attack the parents, mock marriage, attack nationalists etc to destroy everything we know and that binds us together. In order to be able to 'build back better'

So yes, we have every reason to not welcome this

I have a problem with Disney because they have actually admitted that they have a "we're coming for your children" agenda! It's company-wide. Disney's CEO, their production teams, writers, and animators have said they have an agenda of "adding queerness" to children's programming.

Isn't there a hallmark film out there for the rest of you?

It won't play in my house either. Dysfunction shouldn't be encouraged in children or adults. Even though we're all have to accept it exists and beer kind to it.. it's still dysfunction, sorry.

So nothing to add about the actual OP? Because it seems that certain countries are not allowing the movie to be shown. Let's be real the international market is a huge deal for a company like Disney and losing fourteen markets is not a good thing for Disney at all. If anything it's showing the favorite stereotype of Americans pushing their beliefs onto other countries! It may be fine here in the states, but that is not the whole of their market!

If you want to be real, then you should be aware that the countries they're losing, aside from China, are not that big of a market. Right now, the predictions for Lightyear are to be on the low end grossing US$700M and on the high end hitting US$1.2B. Without the Chinese market.

Besides, they made bank (approaching US$932M globally in 39 days) on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and it was banned in nearly the same set of countries for the same reasons. And that's without the Chinese market too.

I grew up next to a gay man, and he was one of the best people I ever met in my young years.
Of course, I didn't really know he was a homosexual until I grew up, but it would have been more obvious if I had been educated. Who the hell gives out grapefruit for Halloween?

Having said that, I don't think it's right how disney and the rest are targeting children.
Also making that the point of the movie sounds like a good way to ruin a movie, to me.

But what I do I know? I'm just a middle aged middle class employed white married male, spending most of my money paying my bills.
I don't pay those bills anymore- screw the media.

I had actually wanted to see this movie because it would have been fun to feel like a kid again, if even for an hour or so. I cannot support this so...I guess that's out. Can't they have anything any more that does not support the gay agenda? People who are for this belief system have their rights as well, but not the kid movies!

I hate to be rude but I have to stand up to what you just said. I had just a few minutes ago saw this new thread and had had just read the article. I had also just got through complaining out loud about why can't they at least do 50/50 on the agenda's in movies now. I feel as though over the years I have given up tv. I have given up music. I have mostly given up all movies. I had actually started watching Disney movies just for something fairly clean (although I overlook the cussing in them!) If even the kids movies are going to have this crap then I have barely anything left. And you still have the nerve to act like "well just don't watch it!" to those who do not support indoctrination of the little kids?

Where have you been lately? obviously not on the same earth as me. As a person who cannot support LGBTQIAZPRWLQKWJ or whatever....there is very little left to watch or do. People who DO support it should at least realize that they now have almost ALL the rights and should either strive for equality for ALL or stay quiet and just enjoy it all.

I really don't care about the community of homosexuals in CO. Live and let live is my motto. It is none of my business what people do for sex or who they do it with, and I don't want to know. I prefer to MYOB when it comes to with whom and how others choose to meet their sexual desires. I just wish others felt it was none of my business too, rather than forcing me to know what they do for sex and with whom.

I just want people who feel compelled to teach little tiny children the ABC's of sexuality to realize I think they are setting little children up for abuse by adults by teaching them about sex before they are physically and mentally ready for it. Also, I don't think it is a good idea to teach little children how to masturbate in public school. I don't think teaching preschoolers the ABC's of LGBT as Disney and Nick Jr. is doing is a good or healthy idea.

I just want the government and "children's media" to leave our little children alone when it comes to sexuality.

I leave you alone and let you live the life you choose, with no judgement from me, just let the little children alone and let them be innocent little children at least before puberty when their bodies and minds are ready to "learn" masturbation and the ABC's of LGBTQ.

I don't care who kisses or holds hands around my family. As long as they don't come to my grandchildren and explain to them exactly the whys and wherefores of what they are doing it, its none of our business. I don't think 99.9% of LGBTQ would do that and feel like me that it is none of my business to know their business.

However, our public schools do think it is the governments business to teach the ABC's of LGBTQ to even 5 year olds and Disney and Nick Jr. and Discovery Channel also thinks it is their business to teach even preschoolers about the ABC's of LGBTQ in their programming, and are actively doing so. Public schools also feel compelled to transition children to the opposite gender, even giving them puberty blocking drugs that often cause sterility without the knowledge or consent of parents.

I have every right to ban those who I think are harmful to children from our home since I feel it is grooming children for sexual abuse, including heterosexual abuse. It is one reason why our littlest grandchildren are in private school.

I don't care what you do in your home, this is what I am doing in my home, what's wrong with that? I don't care if you watch gay porn in your home, why do you care what I ban from my home? I have the right not to go to Disney and to go somewhere else, if you have a problem with that, it's your problem not mine. Why do you even care and get upset enough at me that you have to mock me and my choice? It doesn't affect you or anyone but me and my family.
