Following last weeks ruling that deportation flights to Rwanda are legal and can proceed sandal wearers incensed at the UK taking control of its borders launched an appeal .... today that appeal was heard and dismissed.

The appeal court said it "cannot interfere" with the original decision.

Lord Justice Singh said "we consider that the judge produced a detailed and careful judgment which is all the more impressive in view of the time constraints under which he had to give it" in this "urgent and important case".

The Public and Commercial Services union (PCS), which represents around 80% of Border Force staff, had brought Monday's case, alongside charities Care4Calais and Detention Action.

At last common sense has prevailed and the government can start deporting people who have illegally entered our country and in doing so send a strong message to those waiting to do the same.

But still the sandal wearers won't take no for an answer.

A second case is currently being heard in the High Court after Asylum Aid, a refugee charity, applied for an urgent interim injunction to stop the government flying migrants to Rwanda.

Although given the two cases they have lost to the High Court and the Court of Appeal I think it highly unlikely their request for an injunction will succeed .

Time to regain control of our borders.

From what I have seen they are putting them up in Luxury hotels with swimming pool's over there at cost to the UK taxpayer.

So despite Rwanda's very questionable human right's history there is no argument to say this is inhumane as if they win there appeal they will then be flown back to the UK.

So the court could not really rule any other way.

If they were being put into concentration camps over there then it could not go ahead, if they were being put into a field in a tent it could not go ahead but as they are actually being put up in quite luxurious hotels (At least by Rwandan standards) there is really nothing that can be said other than what the hell is the cost of this to the UK tax payer going to be and will it deter the other migrants illegally coming to our nation which I don't think it will.

It's certainly a far higher standard of accomodation and quality of life than they would experience going through legal channels as asylum seekers and refugees in the UK and costs the taxpayer quite a bit more.

It's certainly more on the luxurious side than inhumane like the woke brigade are trying to claim; but personally I think all it will do is cost the taxpayer far more (the first flight is less than 10% full) and make people smugglers at least double the money as people aren't going to give up first time round if their 'punishment' is an indefinite stay at an all expenses paid 4* hotel.

All legal challenges have been rejected today and the flight carrying its first unknown number of unwelcome guests is due to take off shortly.

Legal challenges by four asylum seekers set to be deported on a flight to Rwanda tonight have been rejected.

A Boeing 767-300 stands ready on a Ministry of Defence runway at Boscombe Down in Amesbury to take the first migrants to the east African country tonight.

A Kurdish man had his bid to prevent his removal to Rwanda rejected by the High Court this afternoon by Mr Justice Smith, who also refused him permission to appeal.

I wish them a safer flight than the boat journey they took to get here.

Apparently the flight has been stopped for now due to an intervention by the European court of human right's.

And all this muckin around is making the lawyers a fine fortune! Priti's got a good idea here in terms of deterance yet the do gooders will want every scam artist invader fake asylum seeker to have human rights and sneak in through the lefty left door. This country has spiralled down to the lowest rung all the time the locals can't get legal aid and these fake asylum seekers get it handed to them for free on a plate

Deterrence is a good idea, we have to be careful we are not throwing the baby out with the bathwater though as some of them could be genuine asylum seekers, those coming over on boats from France though I do not buy it, they are economic migrants and some of them are undoubtedly ISIS or other radicals as well as criminals, murderers and rapists.

If those coming over illegally from France were GENUINE asylum seekers then why not apply for asylum in the first safe country they enter.

So if it is then then Fine but why pay all that money for flight's when we should legally and rightly DO have the right to return them to France even if the French would then try to stop us, they are legally obliged to deal with these illegal migrants within France OR to return them to which ever other country they entered France from at first anyway.

But our politicians don't have a back bone so it seam's.

(Oh they will prey upon our own people and bring in lockdowns while partying away themselves but actually do the Job they were elected to do rather than set themselves up or life, well it seems our political elite are not the correct calibre of individuals to do the jobs they are actually doing and so they DON'T do them or at least not competently).

Totally agree Labs and we have to keep the borders open for the genuine asylum seekers. Yet those dingeys landing on the south coast full of sub Saharan blacks come on mate, they are all like 18 years old sent out by their folks to invade our shores and that is quite literally taking the piss. Send 'em to Rwanda for sure. Now if it's genuine Christian Assyrians or Kurds then yes they need asylum. But all these sub Saharan's or Bengaladeshi's? Mate they are taking the piss and Priti Patel has got a good idea in making them go somewhere that might make other scam artists parents think twice before sending their kids overseas to bring in an income. Our infrastructure here in the UK is on its last legs and can't take millions of infiltrators year on year........................ Yet pot calling the kettle black my own family on the male side came here in the Norman invasions 1,000 years ago and illegally invaded this island

The last minute interference by the European court last night shows in glorious Technicolor why many Brexiteers weren't happy that we remained a signatory of Europe's legal framework.

Meanwhile At least 444 people have crossed the Channel yesterday.

At least 444 people crossed the Channel on Tuesday, the highest daily figure since the government announced it planned to send some asylum seekers to Rwanda.

Who would have thought free plane tickets to Rwanda would draw such a crowd.

I wonder how much of this intervention by the European court of human rights is down to France.

After all if those migrants stop wanting to come to Britain then France will actually have to do what it is meant to do and deal with them itself.

Priti Patel has spoken about the European Court of Human Rights intervention to stop the removal of illegal immigrants being deported to Rwanda.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the home secretary has vowed to "find ways to overturn" the decision.

She said: "One could argue that we have been a soft touch - and I think we have been quite frankly, partly down to our EU membership.

"You've got to look at the motivation. How and why did they make that decision? Was it politically motivated? I'm of the view that it is, absolutely.

"The opaque way this court has operated is absolutely scandalous. That needs to be questioned.

"We don't know who the judges are, we don't know who the panel are, we haven't actually had a judgment - just a press release and a letter saying we can't move this person under Rule 39.

"They've not used this ruling previously, which does make you question the motivation and the lack of transparency."

Their motivation and reason for the lack of transparency is obvious , it begins with a B and ends with exit.

They are now planning and about time to electronically TAG all these illegal migrant's for at least one year, this will help them to identify were they are going, illegal employment etc that actually harms our economy and robs the government of wage based tax so in theory it should pay for itself in the end.
