We waste a lot of food, just like we waste a lot of other things.

As to corporations, our world in this day of age could not function without the likes of corporations, just like she could not function without the big pharmaceutical companies.

Unfortunate necessary evils without such the world as we know it could not exist nor hope to continue to do so.

when I hear people talking about smashing the globalist or taking power back from the elite I remember what they did to us and how much harm they caused.

Both the United States and the United Kingdom practiced the sport of eugenics right up until the beginning of the 1970s.

And the fact of the matter is eugenics never went away.

It simply went underground, and is now coming back in to the open along with all the right wing white power racist nonsense that once again is rearing its head amongst our respective populations.

My posts in the past was fighting the fear, not pushing it. I don't think my jabs were useless BTW, my bout with COVID was less than 3 days, thank you. Did you actually live in fear or just think the Goverment was being an idiot along with a good chunk of the left, well that is what I thought and still do.

I have said maybe a half dozen of times I fear neither the jab or the virus. I did a risk assessment on myself, as everyone should have done, and with me being 62 I saw the vaccine as a good thing for me. No fear just normal calculation of what is the best path for me would be in this situation.

I also said many times that the vaccine is not for everyone as each of you needs to look at the risk to reward of it. If you are younger and in good health you really do not need it and I said that from day one. Would you like me to post one of the times I said that well over a year ago? If you are older and/or have issues you should really think hard on whether you should get it or not. The virus was no joke for those types of people.

I chose hand engraving as my vocation for the very reason that there are things machines can't do, nor will they ever be able to. Those archaic traditions always appealed to me for that reason. Very rich people will always want personalized decorative objects.

Looking at population in general, pretty much all 1st world countries are in negative population growth. The max that we humans will reach is 11 billion, and all that is because of economics. In poor areas they have many kids since the kids are basically slave labor for the good of the family. As people get out of poverty kids stop being an asset and become a financial liability, and so people have a lot less kids.

The Americas are at 1 billion and we will be 1 billion in 2100
EU is 1 billion and will be 1 billion in 2100
All of Asia 4 billion, but will still go up some to 5 billion by 2100
Africa is 1 billion and will still see the highest increase to 3 billion by 2100
And about an extra billion because people will live much longer by 2100

Back in the 40s and 50s when eugenics was talked about many people back then thought the world population would hit 25+ billion by now...lol What they never figured into it all was why did people back then have kids and why people today do not have kids.

If there was some evil group out there looking at cutting the population down I don't think they would target the first world countries that are already in a negative population growth.

The eugenics movement here in the UK peddled offensive and sometimes downright dangerous ideas from its inception in 1883.

And the reason it never gained widespread appeal or approval is down to the social and environmental reforms implemented.

There was more to it than simply sterilisation of undesirables aka mentally insane and people considered handicap or unfit to procreate.
