Yep.

Only real "problem" right now, for me, is that I have to take a required IRA distribution. Should have done it it January, dammit, so now I'm stalling.

Yeah, gas is expensive but I don't drive a lot. Remember odd and even days? When they let you buy gas at all?

Groceries are expensive but I can deal with that. I don't buy breakfast at work anymore, that makes up the difference and then some.

I wouldn't go as far as claiming cognitive dissonance, # may hit the fan in good ol' USofA in the foreseeable future, but its not going to acutely affect every first world country. Here in Australia, its business as usual.

Airlines are still booked solid from what I experience, Italy seems to be business as usual here.

Yes sir I do. I'm sorry about your IRA dealing, I've been a Country music Singer my entire adult life and made enough of a mark to still count on that. For just running around town and such, I purchased an ebike last year, made a huge difference and I guess I'm in better shape than I would have been LOL. I'm single these days and my daughter has learned to make her own way by now, so I guess I was ready for most of this. Best of fortune to you and yours Sir 👍

The IRA is inherited and it ain't much nor is it part of the income I rely upon. Fortuneatley, I guess, I'm still working for a living.

But it is a bummer that I have to take cash out of the account at some point this year (and will be taxed on it). It's a minor bummer but a still a bummer. Should have done it in January when the market was way up.

Other than that I'm no worse off than I was a year ago, or two. Better, actually, probably.

I got sort of screwed a while back but that's water under the bridge and had nothing to do with anything but one particular dick.

A war is the only way to fix it. Whether it’s civil or world, doesn’t matter. Why Americans are so complacent with our government I’ll never know.

Because it is our government wether we like it or not, we get to change it every two and four years 👍.
