That diamond craft sighting that was chased by a Harrier? Was August 4th 1990 but that was Perth Scotland. I think a picture existed of that?....

Yep it was supposedly on Nick Pope's office wall for three years. But he's the only person as far as I know that claims to have seen it.

The photo was allegedly classified until 2072. But that's not true and was the product of sloppy journalism and Nick Pope being disingenuous.

The photo was returned to the newspaper that supplied it. The name of the photographer is the only thing being redacted until 2072.

Dr. David Clarke believe the photo may have been a fake. Although he seems to have cooled slightly on that theory more recently. Perhaps because there is also a document he discovered confirming the UK MoD had a file on a certain rumoured TS aircraft that has never officially been confirmed.

If you are interested I've detailed it all in a thread here (along with the relevant documents from the National Archives)

The Calvine UFO Photo - Another Hoax?

I too have posted about this sighting in a thread but will sum it up here. During the 80's my mom woke me up to see what I guess you would say was a craft floating as opposed to flying across the sky. This thing was huge and had what I call xmas lights around it blinking different colors around it's base. We couldn't see the middle and instead saw the lights as they blinked around going one way then stopping in midstream and heading the other way in a faster motion. None of it made sense and years later I learned that there had been a flap in wytheville, Va only 30 minutes from where I lived during this same time. A woman described the exact craft we saw and described it as a carousel in the sky. It is featured on unsolved mysteries episode, the flap that is. I wish i could have filmed it as the lights should have shown up well on camera as opposed to one single light.

Thank you very much!

I aways wanted to follow up what I heard about that photo, I have an image in my head of a harrier tilted forward and to the left as it seemingly chased the craft but heard it was fake, I'm sure the x-files poster pollutes my memory though.

Pope is a glorified commentator imho, years ago when I was reading the MoD files he seemed to spice up the reply desk a little and seemed to offer sources in official replies. Mixed feelings on him, I've heard stories etc and he's definitely moved more and more into sensationalism.

Thanks again for the link

After my first observation while in the Air Force in 1978, over Altus AFB, I have non stop investigated the subject matter. in order to find the answers I found it necessary to research many, many subjects. And the present public disclosure, will disclose, nothing. Anything that will lead to the truth of the subject.

The reason for this is two fold. 1. They can not "see" the big picture, and only aware of the small bits. Because the way information has been "compartmentalized" are incapable of reassembling it. 2. "They" are not permitted to reveal the big picture even if they did "Rebuild" the big picture.

You are lead to believe we are on the verge of a "Alien Invasion" which is completely false, unless you consider a fabricated invasion. The evidence suggests that Invasion started roughly 70 million years ago with the reshaping of our land masses. And today, we live in a fabricated reality where we are encouraged to "see" "Aliens" instead of who and what they really are. Before the flood, mankind bowed down to them, as gods. Everything since then has been a fabricated lie!

In order to see their paradigm, you first, have to get out of it... And as far as I understand, in order to do that, you must become a Iconoclast, or die...

You must decide, the blue pill, or the red, there is nothing in between.

I must be in the minority. I was in the Air Force 2004-2016. Never saw a UFO.

Then again, I only had Secret clearance

Imo, an inordinate number of people claim to have had TS. Yes, lots of people in the military have had Top Secret clearance, but way more of us didn't. But whenever you see someone mention their security clearance here, it's always TS. That doesn't jive with the fact that just holding Secret is much more common. Most jobs in the military don't require TS and they don't just give it away to anyone who joins in case you might need it. I'm not saying that any particular person in this thread or on the site is lying, but it's likely some are, just based on the numbers.

That said, I don't totally discount everyone's stories. I absolutely believe there are a proportion of sightings that genuinely defy explanation. Those seem to be few and far between, but they are there. Saying they defy explanation doesn't necessarily mean there is no explanation, or that it has to be aliens. On the other hand, for now, it can't be disproven that some are alien in origin either.

There are logical, well-reasoned arguments both for and against aliens having any motivation to visit Earth. All I'll say about that is it's awfully arrogant of us to assume we are even capable of understanding the motivations of a potential other species. We don't even understand the motivations of some members of our own species.

Technological objections or dismissiveness because of the impracticality of traveling here are dependent on our own, limited understanding of the laws of physics. I love science, and it is a noble philosophy, but it is employed by flawed humans and our understanding of it is therefore imperfect. Things that would have been considered ridiculous 100 years ago are taken for granted today.

Accordingly, I try to remain agnostic on the subject.

Yes, logic. a frightening thing to consider when applied to the "alien" mindset. Have you noticed the present purge of humanity taking place while I write these words? The insanity that has let loose on the world? There is only one rational, logical reason for the present culling, there are too many lemmings to deal with. Encouraged abortions, supplying a country with weapons to draw us into a global war? Criminals let loose to cause more chaos? Experimental drugs that cause mass death? These are not the thoughts of a human being.

It is not arrogant for man to see these things and realize there is something else at play. Something that at its core, is arrogant, dominating, and, evil. But at the same time intelligent enough to have us, blame ourselves for all the trouble.

It is not arrogant for man to finally start using their own mind, and stop being a lemming. For that is all you are, to them. It is not arrogant to realize you are nothing but cattle expected to work to death, and pay your slave taxes as you do.

So, is it arrogant to wonder why we have not gone back to the moon?

To answer you, no, it isn't arrogance on our part. If anything, we are guilty of, ignorance. Willful ignorance on the part of some, who have taken the blood oath, in ignorance...

Accordingly, I try to remain agnostic on the subject.
I did as well. Until the final bits fell into place.

I stand by my words.

Regarding my security clearance, yes, I had a top secret clearance. I was a CTO (Cryptologic Technician-Operations) in the Navy for a little over eight years. Had to go through the whole special background investigation thing, polygraph, the whole nine yards.

Like I said, I wasn't accusing any specific person. Not sure why you felt the need to defend yourself.

Was that before or after you were diagnosed with chronic depression?

I was on a flight last night from Charlotte to Boston at around midnight and was looking out the window at the big dipper and for the first time ever I witnessed something in the sky I could not explain. I saw what I thought were stars zipping around and going in circles and then would dissappear then return and hover then make circles again. I can't explain this. I have looked at satellite videos and they were definitely not that. I also am always on planes and I know it wasn't any sort of plane. So yes I am starting to believe now.

My stepfather, a Navy fighter pilot and experimental test pilot, also explained to me in 1974, when I was a child that he experienced the same thing every time he went above 30,000 feet, that they would swarm his F4J. When he went below 30,000 feet, they went away. He said that Reagan's SDI (Strategic Defense Initiative- the "killer satellites") were designed specifically to keep them from entering the atmosphere. You can see the SDI in a video when it repelled a UFO that was able to stop in it's tracks and move insanely fast to avoid the energy transmitted by one of the satellites. In the original video, a missile was fired first and the UFO avoided it with relative ease and then the satellite directed it's energy towards the UFO and it basically backtracks. Unfortunately in the only video I could find, it only shows the flash of the satellite beam and the resulting movement by the UFO. They've removed so many smoking guns it's relatively impossible to find the pure proof anymore.
