Hi,

I'm no Catholic, and John Paul II is not my Pope. But still, I can't believe how they have been giving him eulogies(sp?) since yesterday afternoon, through right now. They have basically had a funeral, or about as close as they could get, for him. Now, they are planning who will be the next Pope.

The man is still alive!. I think that people are very morbid and sick. I bet there is at least one or more reporter from every news reporting network around the world, all just waiting to be first to announce, "The Pope is Dead!". Well, just for that reason only, I hope that he pops up and says, "Not quite yet!" Or something like that. Just because of the obvious greed and sickness of most of the human race.

I'm appalled!

In reply to your post here is what I have to say:

A healthy person in his condition would have an 80-90 % death rate.

Now let's turn to an 84 year old parkinson's disease and ready to die pope

His chances are very slim, but I do agree that the news organizations should hold off until an OFFICIAL annoucement from the Vatican.

God must be really evil if he lets the poor bastard suffer so much. At the very least they should vote a new pope in, as he is clearly unable to perform his duties.

Disrispect. Thats the new ATS. I recent what you called the pope and so will others.
Watch what you say and how you address the pope. Its one thing to think there's conspiracies, its another to say what you did.

MysticalUnicorn supports merka:

Dgtempe, you think he was offending the pope by saying "poor bastard"

That is just a term for a mercy killing, he is not actually calling the Pope a bastard.

BTW- It's hard to post here, the server is always slow, their all millions of advertisements before i can even get a chance to log in. I've won over 30 i-pods and let's not forget a PSP.

Dgtempe, I did not actually win 30 i-pods, I am talking about the shoot the shot game, and squash the bug games.

THAT'S THE NEW ATS FOR YOU!

Yeah, I'm getting pretty sick of hearing about it. These guys need to cool it; they'll probably have their story in about 10 hours or so. But since when is the press anything other than a bunch of irritating little locusts, swarming all over a story that hasn't even happened yet because they don't have anything better to do with their time?

I have to admit that for a short time I wanted to be a journalist, but when I ran into all of the other people who wanted to do the same, I decided to change majors. Quickly.

Why don't you watch how you enforce your preconcieved notions of respect upon others. This itself seems to expose a fundamental lack of respect on your part dgtempe. I really think your response here is more the product of emotion than logic or any attempt to understand what was meant by the words 'poor bastard' in that context.
Personally. I hardly think this issue really deserves the proliferation of clone like posts it seems to be receiving anyway. When we consider the theme of this website a breif mention out of respect would suffice IMO.

A good Manager of his Business in this case the Vatican the Pope Has other 2 ICs to handle his Daily Business Affairs while hes sick, And you say God must be evil dont be a wanker he let his son die on the Cross just for us. Just show a bit of respect for him his time will come. All you have to worry about is you dont beat him there!!!!!

Yes, in fact he does. He has a "no extremem measures" order and this is partly why he hasn't been taken to the hospital. The doctors and others would like him there, but he's been pretty firm about this.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

this is only one source. Make of it what you will.

I simply put it out there for a "conspiracy" board to look at and make their own assesments. Shoot the messenger is the standard practice here as of late.

Summary:
Before the WARNING:

1. sign: It will be the flight of the Pope John Paul II out of Rome and his false burial, and the appointment of the anti-Pope...

Again, i dont care what hostilities you all bestow on me. After all this is a website catering only to reptilians and orange aliens- Now those are beleivable!

And which prophecy might that be? The Pope is a mortal man. Mortal men die. I understand the nature of this board, but to read hocus-pocus and prophecy into EVERYTHING is a little thick-headed.

Thisck Headed? Read the post above yours. OF COURSE THE MAN WILL DIE...not just yet according to some...

Is that the strangest thing you ever heard on these boards?
Geeeeez

First off, you're right the Pope isn't dead yet, and it's almost sick the way the news media is covering it. But it is the biggest story, this is the longest lasting pope, especially compared to the guy before him. But also the vatican learned it's lesson from the Pope before him. Alot of people say well if he's staying at the papel apartments he must be dying because he's not at the hospital like last time! But the dumby's that say this don't realize the Papal Apartments is pretty much like a hospital. The Pope Believes he is going to die soon, and he wanted to die at a place of signifigance and where the media could see such an out poor from the people. It's one thing this Pope understands is how to use the media, even if he is just a dumb old Pollock like me.

And mystical unicorn 'A healthy person in his condition would have an 80-90 % death rate. ' that's just complete bull#. He has a urinary tract infection, women get it all the time in many forms. And they are not just droping dead in the streets now are they. You say a 'healthy person in his condition' well when you're 80+ years old you you are not healthy! Especially if you have something like parkinsons disease where you're body #ing up you're muscles, including you're heart, quite badly. Anybody in the Popes condition, an 84 year old parkinson's patient, you're mortality rate to his kind of thing is 90-99%.

Why is this big news at all, like my mom told me(a Registered Nurse). She knew this was coming weeks ago when he had to go to the hospital. But thanks to modern medicine, he's still kicking.

Why are the cardinals all getting ready to appoint the next Pope. The process is very long and debated, it's not like here in the united states... the presidents dead put the vice president in! First they have to bury them, then that's when the cardinals convene, and it always takes many days for the cardinals to come to a unifying position on who the replacment should be. I pray to God the pope will come to the window and prove the whole world wrong.

But seriously folks, it's going to keep a miracle from God to keep John Paul the 2nd alive.
