Ray Liotta Dies in His Sleep at 67

I know it's normal for healthy 67 year old's to die in their sleep. Where have we heard that before? "Died suddenly," or "died unexpectedly?" Oh, wait, it happens everyday now, since 2021. We had 16 people running a half marathon that collapsed recently. Don't worry, it's normal, and everything is a coincidence.

What do usually "die" from in your sleep? Cardiac arrest.

A shocker. Ray Liotta, the terrific actor whose career breakout came in the Martin Scorsese crime classic Goodfellas, has died. Deadline hears he died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting the film Dangerous Waters. We will have more details when they become available.

Liotta was on a big resurgence. Recent turns included The Many Saints of Newark, Marriage Story and No Sudden Move. He finished the Elizabeth Banks-directed Cocaine Bear and was due to star in the Working Title film The Substance opposite Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley.

It is becoming increasingly hard to not assume the poisonous injection. I know, personally, too many who died from it.

Sad news I always liked his movies but I don't think his lifestyle was the most healthy. I believe he was a longtime smoker but had recently quit (wasn't he on a vaping commercial) and lived a hectic lifestyle. His characters always seemed to be high stress and wound pretty tight. How much was his real life like his characters? Could explain why some of his roles were so good, he wasn't acting.

Those are not health problems. Those are behaviors one engages in.

Health problems are high blood pressure, cancer, emphysema, blood clots, so on and so forth.

No. You’re totally right. Smokers and heavy drinkers are known for their long life span and pristine health.
