There is no singular answer

I wouldn't be opposed to restricting the age to 21 for all firearms.

18 year old kids are not adults.

Can't have a beer? Can't have a gun.

you must be young
22 rifle l had under the age of 18
no big deal back then

I'm talking about purchasing one. Not the gun your dad gave you as a kid. I shot a gun for the first time at 10 years old, so I very aware of underage people having access to firearms. When I would go out to the cabin in Prescott with my aunt and uncle, my uncle would take me shooting every time. I didn't have access to any of the guns outside his supervision, and that includes the .22 lr he bought specifically for me. It was for all intents and purposes, my gun, but I couldn't just go grab it anytime I wanted.

There's a difference between having access to firearms, and being able to buy your own firearms.

Then it's a US thing, because as I have said, around the world people have access to guns and the same video games, yet it typically only happens here.

Yes, it does appear to be a US thing. An American sickness that needs to be addressed and diagnosed before it can be healed.

And yes

The one common factor I do see in these situations, is law enforcement were aware of these individuals almost every time. The media will come out and reveal an online history that essentially says that this guy is crazy and wants to shoot up a school.

THAT is where actions needs to be taken! Every damn shooter has an online history pointing to these things!

The only thing I would expand upon from your comment is that it is not ''the one common factor'' but rather ''a common factor'' and yes straightening that out and taking action based on that information would greatly help in dampening the increase in these senseless massacres . But then the question here is ''why aren't these shooter types being singled out and cared for before they go off the hook? That question is rather important. The answer even more so.

The sickness is apparent. The rotten gov allows known insane criminals to be repeat offenders until they murder someone and THEN, they will put them back on the streets in a few months if they do get a conviction. Insane people being allowed to hurt people when we all in the neighborhood know Little Johnny is a nut job and the law and justice system say "so, we think he is a good boy and we are giving him his 37th chance".

You can't make this stuff up Terry. It is just pitiful.

I like Russell Brand. He's somewhat verbose but essentially seems to have a good balance of common sense and spiritual insight on things. Also he doesn't cleave to one or another political ideology for brownie points like so many celebrities do. On the issue at hand, I'm British, I really don't understand the US culture regarding gun ownership or the rights and wrongs of it so bow to wiser heads than mine.

Remember when that ugly Pommy drowned rat looking scumbag had to run away from the leftist protest because they all knew that he was controlled opposition acting on behalf of the ptb? That was hilarious.
