A question about the recent POS mass murderer in TX. If he was bullied because he was so poor and couldn't afford cloths, how in the hell did he afford TWO high end rifles and an optic? Also, why 2 rifles if you are that broke? Seems like he had a big pile of throw away money for those purchases. Oh, he also had a plate carrier and related tactical gear. That seems like a # ton money for a dreg 18 year old to have.

Anyone see any answers to this basic question? Where did he get the money?

Was the truck his? If so, how new was it? Seems like this poor dreg got an big infusion of cash recently. Inquiring minds want to know.

Texas school shooter Salvador Ramos was bullied at school because of the clothes he wore and because his family was poor, former classmate says

A 'close' friend of Salvador Ramos, 18, said the shooter used to be made fun of for his clothing and because his family was poor

The school shooter - who originates from North Dakota and had recently moved to Texas - had reportedly bought two rifles on his 18th birthday, which was days ago, the Daily Beast reported.

In the days leading up to the massacre, Ramos told his friend that he 'looked very different now.'

'You wouldn't recognize me,' he messaged less than a week ago.

Ramos's social media was full of photos of his new guns, which he bought on his 18th birthday,

I remember an interview with his grandfather. He stated that he, the grandfather, owned the truck. He also stated that the shooter did not really know how to drive and had no driver's license. The grandfather also stated that he knew nothing of the weapons being purchased.

About the other items, very good question. He possibly bought them with a credit card is my only reasonable guess without some outside help.

Interesting, I wonder who drove him to the gun store?

Would love to know how all these items were purchased and if he had "assistance" with this.

The grandmother's neighbor was just on. He verified the shooter had trouble driving the truck. He had trouble getting it shifted into drive before speeding off. Also, the school was not very far from the grandmother's house as he stated that he heard shots in the distance as he was helping the grandmother. This rules out the reports of a police chase. The shots in the distancd were heard as the police arrived at the grandmother's house.

They stated that the shooter was living with his grandmother for 3 or 4 months but the neighbor only saw him a couple of times

Still, the question is where did he get all the money for all of this stuff and I doubt he walked to the gun store.

I don't know many 18 year olds that are so poor they can't buy decent cloths that happen to save thousands for these kinds of purchases.

That should do it. I was estimating around 3 for the weapons, ammunition and accessories. That would leave 1 for the body armour.

$3k isn't accurate. The kid used 2 Daniel Defense DDM V7 Pro AR-15 Rifles which sell for $2000 each and a holographic sight that runs at least another $700.

Note that there are many far cheaper options available.

Strange the police described it as body armor and not tactical gear.

I have been pondering the same question…where did this kid get the money to purchase not 1 but 2 assault rifles? Why purchase 2…when only 1 can be used at a time?

Truck belonged to grandparents. Per the news reports - the Grandfather, Rolando Reyes, said he was unaware of gun purchase and also stated that he (the Grandfather) has a criminal arrest history and can’t be near guns…so having a gun in the house wouldn’t have been allowed because with his criminal history it is prohibited.

I looked on the Uvalde school district website. The district has implemented many of the safety measures recommended following the other US school shootings. The district school safety plan says teachers are supposed to keep classroom doors closed and locked at all times. (item 17) The school district notes that the High School and the other District Elementary School has a security vestibule at the front office…but does not state that Robb Elementary school has a security vestibule. (Item 12)

drive.google.com...

www.ucisd.net...

The most frustrating part of this for me is that even after the other school shootings many school districts in the South are still using schools as public voting locations (while students are in class). I don’t have an issue with using the school but schedule the kids to be off that day….before your invited the world into the school to vote. 99%.9% of the school year the schools are locked down to the point to where everyone needs to be buzzed in through a security vestibule. Voting day…schools doors are wide open and literally anyone can walk in to vote. Tuesday (the day of the shooting) was a voting day in Texas; and one of the Uvalde schools was a voting location…but Robb Elementary wasn’t.

I don't know the law in Texas, but up here you need a state issued photo ID to enter into the background check system.
I never thought of it before but I've needed my driver's license for every single purchase.

I've been watching Netflix instead of the pukey pablum of the MSM, so I was not aware of any of the details.

Great and very informative posts on this thread this morning.

I see a fair number of similarities between this Uvalde event and the Parkland shooting in Fort Lauderdale.

Seems like another false flag so far.

I checked and matched the gun pictures he posted to the website of the manufacturer and only one rifle matches that picture and it is listed as just over 2000. What is the other rifle? I paid less then 100 for two holographic sights. Are you certain he got the expensive ones? All those items might still be affordable, one less expensive AR-15 and less expensive sights, if he had the $4000.

As far as two weapons go, that sounds like what I ended up with. Before my father passed away, we got two matching shotguns because there were two of us.

It has been reported that he road around with a friend and shot at people with a bb gun from that vehicle. The second AR was probably for that friend but somehow that friend backed out or was not available at the time. That friend is probably the one who drove him to the gun store.

If he only had a plate carrier, that was probably just for looks and to carry things, that would not cost much.

I was wondering about the driver's license. He probably had a state issued photo ID which would work for the background check. But why would he not just get a drivers license instead of just an ID unless there was some other problem keeping him from getting the driver's license?

This caught my eye this morning:

U valde school district was part of AI program that rooted out potential mass killers and monitored social media for threats and potential shooters

Uvalde School officials say they had been monitoring its students' social media pages using an advanced AI-based service called Social Sentinel, designed to recognize signals of potential harm found in digital conversations.

The district revealed Monday it had been using the platform 'to monitor all social media with a connection to Uvalde as a measure to identify any possible threats that might be made against students and or staff within the school district.'
