The shooter’s name was pronounced “Salvador Romas” by the governor and now news agencies are saying the name is “Salvador Ramos”.

Initially said suspect in custody…..then reported suspect not in custody….then reported suspect is dead?

A fetus is what matters, not a child. We see that over and over again. I can tell you my kids never had nightmares when they learned about slavery but 2 of my daughters sure had nightmares about school shootings. Always after they had an active shooter drill, or when students threatened to shoot up the school on social media.

Tell you what when you can figure out a law that stops a nut case from illegally obtaining a gun, and performing an illegal act GREAT introduce it to the world.

Lastly remember thanks to the idiots in DC our southern border where the cartels live is an open road now, they would just add gun running to their agenda and criminals would still have guns.

So you could go door to door and the crazy and the criminal will still get guns.

Uninformed. The fact is that the statistics show there is no correlation between availability of guns and the number of shootings. The only way you can "prove" otherwise is to cherry-pick countries.

i don't know this study but would love to read it. and the solution would be to arm children as well?

You don't need an academic to tell you what to think. You can check it yourself.

There are lists of gun deaths per capita by country freely available, and the restrictiveness of each country's gun laws are also publicly available. All you need is the drive to get informed.

The problem is most people have no such drive.

The only way to solve this problem is to give everyone a huge amount of money to turn their guns in, that way criminals might actually do it.
Instead of $50 billion to Ukraine, gun buy back program at $50K or $100K a pop.
Criminals would be scrambling to find guns on the street to turn in.

And then more guns for them to use would pour in over the border.

No, I certainly do not. You do, however, need to take a class in statistics. One country's record means precisely nothing in a conversation about what the cause of this is. The statistics do, however, show that gun availability is not the reason. You do not have the mental capacity to understand that, though, because you don't understand why a single country's statistics are irrelevant. The only way to change that is if you get educated about the use of statistics. Until you are educated, no rational conversation about this subject can be had with you.
