Azovstal Surrenders

Earlier today, Azov commander Andriy Biletsky made a statement on the situation in Mariupol:

“I thank everyone who does everything to save the soldiers, everyone who gave publicity to the events at Azovstal. But now I urge you to refrain from commenting and evaluating what is happening there ... The only thing that each of you must do today is not to harm the salvation of our guys."

Biletsky like Zelensky has refrained from terming today's transfer in to custody a "surrender".

A side note. A closed session of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation is scheduled for May 26, at which the request of the Prosecutor General's Office to recognize Azov as a terrorist organization will be considered.

Russia was always going to win this. It doesn't matter how much propaganda and fake news come from either side.

What should matter more is why $40 billion in U.S. taxpayer money was sent to Ukranian oligarchs to "support" a side that didn't stand a chance without Nato military support.

I believe that's called a "globalism donation".

Thanks for the update. I have no clue any more who's winning/losing. Even the media has pretty much stopped paying attention to this dance.

The only real winner from start to finish in all this is evil, everybody else is just vying to be first among losers.

Likely once Russia can assure the people in Donbass and Crimea are safe from further aggression from the Ukrainian government...

Unfortunately the American government has no interest in peace, as the Biden administration is currently using Ukraine to launder billions of tax payers dollars through.
