Red Sky over China

An Omen of doom or apocalypse, or...
They don't call it Red China for nothing...

Actually, according to meteorologists, it is a phenomenon of lights from a boat. One boat. That is some boat!

The red sky that appeared in Zhoushan city of China's east Zhejiang province was caused by the refraction and scattering of light, most likely from ship lights in the port, local media reported Sunday.
Over the weekend, residents of Zhoushan witnessed mysterious blood red skies, causing panic. Videos show the sky over the port city in crimson, largely owing to fog. The reports suggest that sky is perhaps the most red near the port areas.

Panic was palpable as people recorded the discolored horizon, stirring apocalyptic fears.

China said it was lights from a boat, try reading sometimes. Cthulhu isn't opening any portals, he's sailing around China.

Ok seriously this has happened before in history, lets not forget that we had an island blow up just a couple months ago. Last time this happened Red Skies and blood rains were reported in many places. Why does China have to lie about this?

I bet in the Communists didn't destroy all the Emperors Records about Historical China they would have known this fact. I wonder if it will snow this summer in China again?

what kind of lite is that?

to light up a whole sky line like that must be a HUGE light.

i mean unless there is some boat with a few 1000000 watt lights on the deck.

what are they powering it with? what are they cooling it with?

that type of light is more like an explosion or something energetic like that.

I'm surprised that they didn't claim that this was a good omen that the CCCP will help all of China prosper. Instead they claim a boat did it.
