And we have done some things wrong in my lifetime as well. I said they were wrong and maintain that.

The difference is that many proclaim what Russia is doing is right... But ask the justification and you'll get different answers. It's all because of Nazis, even though that's a minority. It's all because Ukraine was going to join NATO even though that wasnt on the table (it was actually the EU). Or it's because Ukraine is actually part of Russia even though Russia gave them up and Ukraine clearly doesn't want to be given the surprising resistance.

It's clear Russia is doing this for their own interests. I am impressed their domestic justifications are getting traction with the international community though.

And for what its worth, I don't want my country having any part in this. Unfortunately I get no say in that matter, but I can still say Russia is wrong while wanting no foreign projection on my nation's part.

1. Lisichansk-Severodonetsk - a grouping of 8 thousand soldiers
2. Avdiivka - grouping of 20 thousand soldiers.

Glad you had a good experience. My family and I moved from South Philly to London in the spring of '79. I was 10 and the school I went to had many skinheads. I avoided talking because they would bully me until I told them I was actually Italian as well; after which, they would salute me and pat me on the back... Mussolini and all that crap. In any case, the taunting and insults were pretty bad in general, so by winter of that year, I had totally lost my US twang and was like a native Norf Lundoner. It was the only way to survive my early school years.

Russia poisoned some turned agents in the UK and killed some brits in the process.

Brits aren't in Russia to the best of my knowledge... They might be in Ukraine. While that's less than ideal, the UK, US, and Russia signed the budapest memorandum promising to protect Ukraine's sovereignty. Russia is going back on that and know full well they may see resistance from the west who are obliged.
