I believe the fires are started on purpose for a couple of reasons after most homes or businesses are destroyed I would put my money on that the home owners or businesses don' t rebuild on the same land.

The land probably drops in value because it can't be insured but someone will be buying that land at a very big discount price and they will sit on it for a few years before developing and selling at a huge profit.

The fire was most likely started by faulty electric power distribution equipment of So Cal Edison. Just as many of the big fires in the Northern part of the state were started by faulty PG&E equipment.

I'm from Cali and it's nothing but desert ready to burn at the smallest spark . I tried to burn some weeds from my fence line once and boy it took off just about had to call the fire dept .

Why would God care about abortion in California when there are thousands of other grave crimes & injustices committed every single day in the rest of the world?

Even just on abortion. Forced abortion is still a thing in China as state policy and in India women are often bullied into aborting their would be daughters due to the lesser status of women in India.

Shouldn’t he do something about those two at least before setting fire to California for allowing women to undergo an abortion of their own free will?

Ah yes, CWM. Every time there's a fire, it's because someone had or sanctioned an abortion. Every tornado is God's anger because someone, maybe a 12 year old, had an abortion. Every flood, hurricane, volcano and earthquake that strikes is because God's mad because someone had or sanctioned an abortion.

Evidence is mounting. Fire hit Doctor's homes, spread by cool ocean winds...not hot Sana Anna winds. Highly unusual. If you listened to the on-the-scene reporters today, you'd have a better sense of how perplexed they all are.

But it's likely this is not going to be a one-off, like you're describing. But one in a series of unusual California problems.
