just a little heads up, that 666antichrist website is lying to you. Go get a list of popes and you will soon see that they leave off a TON of popes in order to fit their own propaganda. HOWEVER, in the list of possible Popes i noticed Martini.... does no one else see the correlation between that and Glory of an Olive? If that happens i don't know what i will think...

yeah St. Lucius I isn't even made mention of on that website. You can see how much propaganda that website is just by me saying this: There have been 264 different popes that list would claim that there have been only 79. RIDICULOUS!

That is true, there tends to be an olive in every Martini.

From what I am gathering, the Next pope will not be an american. Most likely will not be from a major power (England, Germany,France etc.) and will not be an Italian.

I also think the new Pope will be relitivly young like JP2 was. Maybe in his Mid to early Sixties.

As much as I think it would be very ground breaking to have a Pope of color, the Catholic Church is still too conservative to do that.. maybe next time.

I never got that, why does the pope have to be so old. 60 years old is young?

How about a Pope in his late twenties?

I believe i heard that they DO NOT want another young pope in there this time. They want one that is gonna be for around a decade or so instead of 30 years.

Why would they purposely want a pope that they estimate is going to die in 10 years. That's strange. Like the 2 term style policy is based on age. Maybe all the secrets he will learn require that he doesn't live too long to tell about them.

I think the next Pope will be from South America, the biggest Catholic area in the world.

My guess would go to "Cláudio Cardinal Hummes", Archbishop of São Paulo - Brazil

My mom's office is placing bets on who the next pope will be.

I believe that it is entirely possible to have a Black, Hispanic, Asian, or maybe even American pope, and it seems more likely that in this papal election we will have one.

I seriously doubt it will be an American.....there is a language problem...while the American candidate may speak Italian, seems I heard somewhere that there are certain reelections of the language that would be necessary that he just doesn't have.......

My guess would be Father Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, but well I'm willing to be only on one thing...it will be a christian male....
by what I hear, he really doesn't even have to be a priest, just a christian male....

I don't think they will make it anyone who supports the idea of women priests.....if anything it will be somone in the opposite direction.

I believe they will be looking for someone who is able to relate to the Islamic community, since well, what is needed to deal with the problems we are facing now will be just as much a part of the consideration as the qualifications that prospects have. By what I understand the Jesuits have always been major contributors to the conversion of the Islamic world.

I also think he will be much more conservative, and well, closer to what we tend to refer the "neo-con" mentality...
and well, the Jesuits, by what I have read believe the same way.....the end will always justify the means....it is perfectly okay to sin, if you are following the commands of the pope.......

I expect the next pope to bring the church in line with the agenda that Bush and company (as well as many other world leaders) are following.

Have you studied the theory and compared it with the Book of Revelation? If you had, I think you would be surprised over the accuracy of this study.

Just watch the name of the new pope, and see. If he choses a name with the number 1 behind his name, well, then please consider the theory once more!

There is nothing in Canon Law that states that a pope MUST be a cardinal, bishop, priest or, for that matter, even Catholic. With this in mind, I am sitting near the phone waiting. Divine inspiration could cause the conclave to vote for ME! If elected, trust me, I'd make some changes........that bit about celebacy would certainly be the first to go otherwise my wife would make sure I was celebate.

in the 1100s, there was a Irish monk named Malachy who made predictions concerning the popes. After Pope John Paul II, there are only two more popes. The next pope, Malachy predicted, would be "of the olive" this description could describe that he would be of dark or olive skin. With so much discussion that the next pope would be from Africa or from Latin America, this prediction certainly is given some weight. But if anyone wants to get a chilling view of Armageddon, I would propse that the prediction of the last pope be viewed. Malachy certainly does not paint a rosy picture of the future.

I still think that Archbishop Jean-Marie Lustiger should be considered as the favorite candidate as next Pope.

"France was stunned when Pope John Paul II named Jewish-born Jean-Marie Lustiger as archbishop of Paris. "You are the fruit of the Holy Father's prayer," the pontiff's secretary told him. Could it be that the cardinal-electors will now stun the world by choosing Lustiger as next pope, the first Jew to occupy St. Peter's See since Peter himself?

Lustiger, both whose parents died in Auschwitz, has always insisted that, though he had converted to Christianity at age 14, he was and remained a Jew: "I was born a Jew and so I am. For me, the vocation of Israel is to bring light to the goyim. That's my hope, and I believe Christianity is the means for achieving it."

I think Scooby Doo would be an acceptable candidate all round.

He has never upset the womens' lobby, nor the pro-life movement. He has also remained quiet on many of the issues that have divided the church such as the ordination of dog priests, disposal of old bones, which I understand he feels are best left buried, and much of the other religious DOGma which has held back multi-faith progress over the last three centuries.

I am sure that, given the opportunity, he would emBARK on a new attempt at uniting all branches of the Christian church. Various other movements would follow his LEAD if this were handled in the right way.

In return for devoting his life to the church, he would need assurance that a ready supply of Scooby Snax was on hand, but with billions in the Banco Ambrosiano, this would not be a problem.

I would suggest that the catacombs under the Vatican are sealed up though, to stop Scooby digging where he shouldn't.

Regardless that person CLEARLY doesn't count all the popes. They aren't even close. There have been over 3 x as many popes as they have listed. Thus, they are propelling propaganda! This next pope will not be number 666 in terms of names, because they have already long passed that. As you can see from using just a third of the popes names they are sitting right at that number, and when this pope picks a name like John Paul III he is gonna look even more like a douche bag!
