Possibly an appropriate view to have EXCEPT they are now reporting significant shortages of infant formula across the country. It is bad enough that they are cautioning people against trying to make their own infant formula because of the potential dangers to infants plus a lot of parents are reporting being effectively forced to feed formula that their babies are allergic to because there aren't other options on shelves.

I'm sure grocery shelves will remain well stocked in cloves and canned beets... that doesn't mean we should happily accept that as food options and feel thankful over it... the USA has become a #hole and I see zero rationale in not being vocal over all that we are losing.

Can grow as in “it can grow” as opposed to will not grow at all due to climate zone.

Laws are a different matter. Industrial hemp was traditionally grown as a textile, rope and paper crop. They never did much with the seeds despite being 40% oil and more useful than lots of other seed oils like flax (which is also linseed oil) and soybeans.

Ways to help solve this problem:

Coast to coast high speed magnet trains for transportation. A train can carry more goods than a truck, the odds of shipping delays are less likely due to zero traffic and lower probably of a breakdown and can travel faster over longer distances.

Victory gardens and homesteading incentives.
Convert a considerable number of playgrounds, parks and public pools into community farms. Allow gardening on the roofs of apartment complexes.

Reduced production of the meat industry.
Livestock require a considerable amount of crops to feed.

Increased use of compost toilets and compost heaps in regards to human waste and bio degradable refuse.

Desalination plants and man made lakes. We can process the water from the ocean and create fishing habitats.

This is all completely manageable, we just need to invest in our infrastructure.

Well, I can give you the Biblical doom porn side of the issue. Put simply it would appear that Apocalypse started in the 1940s after the end of WW2 and the rebirth of the nation of Israel. The "generation" of Matthew 24 appears to be 74 years old.

Also there's a case to be made that the end of the Apocalypse and the start of the 1000 year reign of the saints occurs on the 2000th anniversary of the death of Jesus Christ. Given date on the internet is April 3 of 2033. The 7 years of the Apocalypse should be starting by April of 2026.

So I would pose that the food shortages and other nonsense going on now is the doing of the 3rd Horseman of Revelation. Corona virus being a manifestation of the 4th one. And the various wars in the middle east for the last 20-30 years being manifestations of the 1st and 2nd one.

The timing on all of that is so bad right now. And for the next 11 years.
