Hair Liberties.

So sitting in the sun, enjoying my glass of savignon blanc.
Handshakes for the guys, and hugs for the pretty ladies.
And suddenly the manager goes: "Sorry Peter, but got to do this", and I'm like ouch!
He just pulled out a hair from my arm!

And he's like telling me, he's got this disorder and he can't tolerate things out of place.

A guy-joke perhaps.
But apparently a woman did the same thing to my dad about 20 years ago.

She just ripped it out, and said it annoyed her.

Yip, in the middle of a party!

But can this be?
Can a hair on somebody else's arm really grow so "grrrr" that you just reach out - and rip it off?

Whilst basking in the sun, has anyone ever said: "Oh look, it's a hair".

Probably some floating hair, you think.

And then: OUCH!

Hey that was actually attached to me!

Why, in my day if you pulled the "steel wool" out of someone's ears or nose, you'd get a good clip around the ears.

Oh, I remember at the gallery opening.

Cake and champagne in hand, and her glare was focusing increasingly on my one side.
Then she went with her long pincer-like fingernails:

"Excuse me".

Rip!
My chinny-chin-cheek!
Turned around and I never saw her again.

Although, it can be an honest mistake.

Oh, it's just a piece of fluff or thread.

"OWW"!

OK, so maybe it wasn't.

Like in the pub, I know guys do strange things to guys.

Like reading my book, and then this snake going into my ear.
But I know now just trying to give me a fright.
Just a finger.
Doesn't take much to scare me.

But thinking back on that hair-pulling stuff ...

Maybe that was aliens harvesting DNA?

My wife once slapped me on the thigh. While I was looking at the handprint she left, I noticed a hair growing and pointed out to her what she had wrought. It grew an inch in less than a minute. Two inches later it fell out of my skin. Mind blown.

Just wanted to add one post to the thread so you're not left talking to yourself for the next four hours.

I miiiight have done this to my husband's arm once. I repeat... ONCE, lol. Now I just smooth a hair down if it catches my eye. HAHAHAHA.

Yes, my mom did this to my grandma. Thought she was taking a stray hair of her face but it was attached up her nose. Awkward, good laugh at that.
