The point I was making about traditional 'leftists' though is that most of them share little in common with the whole woke/cancel culture nonsense.
Go to all those 'Red Wall' towns in the UK and you'll find very little support for that nonsense.

The danger is though that as its influence spreads out and infects more and more areas and begins shaping government policies etc it will start to become the norm.
MSM pushes this image of the UK that very few of us actually recognise and/or care for.

Something has to be done to stop it - sharpish.

Its the biggest, single threat we face - well, apart from maybe Mad Vlad the Bad - and we're in danger of losing the battle.
And the labelling of it as 'leftist' drives me insane - maybe in the US, but nowhere else.
There's not one traditional, left leaning person I know who agrees with it, and that includes some of the staunchest Socialists you could ever meet.
And its all driven by academia intelligentsia who are as far removed from the lives of ordinary people as the entitled elites who dominate every section of UK society.

Theres a saying "The left cant meme" and I believe that is a truth, the reason being is that the left seem to have been robbed of all sense of humor, especially self deprecating humor. Because of this, they just "dont get" memes or how they work, or Jokes and comedy
