Right, now most grated things could make a great "vegetarian burger".

But here we got the "bhakti burger".

Totally vegetarian, and Hare Krishna.

Beans and beet!

I've tried every vegie burger ever to come out in my local area, and have yet to find one pleasant, let alone edible. lol I think my problem is I love a good hamburger, and expect a vegie burger to taste the same- or similar. They don't. For me, it's like trying to compare orange Jell-o to chocolate pudding; not the same animal. The only thing the ones I've tried had in common with the real deal was the name, but I'll keep hoping and trying each new vegie burger they come out with in hopes of finding one I can enjoy some day.

This "beyond burger" and whatever fake mince?
No I don't like it, and very expensive.

Why did 'they' use some poofy name like Veggie Burger?

Why didn't they call it what it really was: Fake Meat.

Nobody wants Fake Meat. To even touch the word Burger ... was to make up a gentle lie ... and then try to force that crap on the unwitting public.

Impossible burger is probably the only one that tries to be fake meat because it uses genetically modified ingredients made specifically for the Impossible burger.
Beyond burger comes in second place but its at least using real ingredients.

Either way, its not being forced on the public. More people are becoming vegetarian or vegan after releazing the health benefits and better ethics. Alot of people are turned off by our factory farm industry.

Therefore, increase in demand means more veggie burger products.

I forgot what a burger taste like, so beyond burgers have always been just okay. Some brands like dr paegers veggie burgers are decent frozen ones.

Although, I much prefer homemade bean burgers. A merchant at my local farmers market makes the best.

Its overrated, not very healthy, and is only appealing if you need that "meat-like burger taste".

Real veggie burgers have so much more flavor!

I noticed you like thai food , have you tried a lentil thai veggie burger? The one i had was pretty good

#1 reason for eating plants instead of animals: factory farming, I refuse to support this industry.

I've tried a large number of "veggie-burgers", both from restaurants and from my own (tiny) kitchen.

My favorite is the Field Roast Field Burger made from barley, carrots, and celery. It doesn't "try" to be beef, but does capture the texture. After Field Burger, I like the Sweet Earth brand patties, also prepared at home.

From restaurants I have most enjoyed Veggie Grill burgers, they have a number to choose from, followed by Beyond Burger then last has been the Impossible whopper- they just aren't very good but do give faint reminders of what a real whopper tasted like mostly due to the same condiments being used for both.

A veggie burger should be that in it's own right.

No need to copy mince.

In fact, better than meat!

I find myself more and more disliking meat in any form these days. Maybe my taste is going due to health, but I can still eat salad no wukkus... Meat has just become bland and unappetising. I remember when I could not get enough bacon, but now it's just bland. Steaks, chewy and nasty. Sausages a lump of unsavoury bulk... I don't know if it's how things are made anymore, when preparing the meat or if it's me.

Give me a bowl of rice with wilted lettuce, or bok choy any day, and I will find it delicious. Muesli. I rarely eat anything anymore anyway. Still a fat bastard though.. damn my health lol

Pork rinds however, I can eat a few. But pretty much a vegetarian as it stands. Not by choice, just... I like texture, and not substance.
