Monstrous ‘eye’ seen staring out of Pacific Ocean in satellite image, scientists say

A satellite panning the North Pacific this week picked up something strange at the center of a cloud formation: A huge eye. It was spotted south of Alaska on Feb. 13 and posted on Facebook by scientists at the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) in Wisconsin.

“Incredible detail in this enhanced water vapor image seems to reveal an eye glancing out sideways from the center of the storm approaching Alaska’s Aleutian Islands.”

Now I have seen the eye of the storm but this one does look like a spooky one where the eye says "Imma 'bout to F*** you up" in a very calming mannered look. Just thought this was something interesting to share =) Thanks everyone

I don't see an eye.

Looks like an ear to me.

Not every cyclone has a perfect pin hole 'eye' or an eye appearance within the eye itself.

In the above use your imagination what this could look like! I see two dark eyes and a rawring mouth about to bite the head of a grizzly bear. NOM NOM NOM NOM

Horn on top of head.. check.
eye in right position.. check.
Long neck.. check.
Fire dripping out.. check.

I see the Yin/Yang symbol in this one, and like New Here a baby elephant in the first. I love watching clouds and storms- I used to dream of having a house with a glass roof as a kid.

In the second picture,
Look off to the left behind the greenish clouds.
Looks like a bluish face behind the green clouds.
I see two eyes , bulbous nose, lips one ear.

Perhaps not everyone can see it. Some people
Can see more shade of colors than other people.
The eye doesn't seem too remarkable to me,
but the face off to the left seems to stand out
with much more detail.

i see a grinning fox with fish eating sharks teeth.

Coming from a river dog who was scared of swimming in Jamaica because of the threat of the Kraken, this is a stretch. But to each their own.

I see a plate of mashed potatoes waiting for a plop of butter and sour cream right in the middle. 😎
