Obama added ~$8T to the national debt, and he had a Republican controlled house for 6 of his 8 years (all spending bills start in house).

Then Trump stepped in, and between his tax cuts and Covid relief he added another ~$8T in half the time as Obama, though Trump had a Democrat controlled house for 2 of 4 years.

Anyone who blames the debt on just 1 party has their head buried so far.

Except the 'elites' (the 1%ers) off course, they already owned more than 50% of the global wealth.
Since the pandemic , which created the largest wealth shift to the 'elites' in history, they likely own much more than 50% now

Lets see, since I have a wood burning kitchen stove that can heat the whole house down to about fifteen below...I can just make wood this summer and burn the furnace for around eight hours at night. When I do that, I go through a couple of singles a month...I will have to order a truckload of wood this summer, it costs a grand for ten full cords of hardwood...I will have to cut and split it and pile it though. That is enough wood to heat my house mostly for about three years...plus I have dead trees on my land to cut up too. I like the old kitchen woodstove, we cook in the oven too, and we can also cook on the top of it...being all cast iron, it does make anything cooked in it taste really good. It does have one drawback, it has to be refilled with a few small blocks of wood every forty five minutes...Or one little larger piece if you can fit it in the door on the top. The blocks are about the size of a four by four block used in making a deck, and they are around fourteen and a half inches long.. It seems to work fine with poplar, but not pine because pine has a lot of pitch and it tars up the chimney.
