I’ve spent many years at being the boats Chief Engineer as well as the Deck.

You are right about the exhaust but I’ll tell you a little secret.

We used to burn home heating oil called 2-oil, it’s much much cheaper than marine diesel.

The only thing is it’s a much dirtier fuel so we went through far more fuel filters but to save $1.50 a gallon when you’re burning a thousand gallons of fuel a day is a LOT of money!!!!

Fuel filters are cheap.
