The media has been under the spell of 'mass graves' in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol for more than a week. Satellite images show possible mass grave at Mariupol, NOS reported last Thursday. An elderly woman named Ana told the CNN reporter that Ukrainian authorities are attacking their own people. He also spoke to a doctor, who said there is no mass grave. Carvalho specifically asked the doctor about mass graves allegedly made by the Russian army. That's a lie, the doctor said. According to the Ukrainian authorities, there is a second mass grave near Mariupol. There, too, Carvalho found bodies in coffins and gravediggers denied the existence of mass graves.

Lots of false news stories focus on Mariupol for some reason. The bombing of the children's hospital was one of the earliest.
