Yes, I am. I am AGAINST abortion but FOR parents teaching their children good values. God has a plan for everyone, that is why each of us is unique from the other 8 billion people on earth, but parents have the responsibility to raise their children to learn right from wrong.

Good for you.

I would still abort Hunter and he's like 50 now.

To be fair, Hunter is just a clump of cells. . . . .

Then he ought to feel right at home in one.

Wrong. Way off!

Your one job as a school is transfer of knowledge on the core subjects we instruct you to teach.

Teachers do as your told. Now get out of the way of parents or you will be moved against your will. Hard.

Ever see a person's head rammed through drywall? Parents should really learn how.

This is happening all over the place. Once again the Globalists are all pushing the same agenda.

Here is a video of one of our Canadian POS politicians being called out.

Woman “they are our children”

POS “they are the Province’s children”

If they can come after our kids and we don’t do anything we probably won’t do anything about any other issue.

I have to guess no one heard the phrase "it takes a village to raise a child" before?

I can't imagine being so scared all the time, of everything. Those I know with children in school are not making any complaints about any indoctrination going on. They are helping their children navigate social situations, the pressure of social media and with little ones dealing with the never ending ear infections, stomach viruses, etc. Other than that, they are all pretty happy. I'm doubtful they are worried Biden is taking their kids.

What Joe is really saying is he wants green-haired teachers to groom your children, introduce them to Drag Queen Story Time, and indoctrinate them to imaginary genders. 🤡🌎

You're projecting here. Democrats are terribly afraid of individual autonomy and the values parents will choose to bestow on their own children. They want full control.
It's one thing to be available to mentor another person's child. It's another thing to claim "somebody's child" as your own.

The only thing a village produces is an idiot.

It takes (a) parent(s) to raise a child.

I’ve heard the saying.

freakonomics.com...

“The Yale Book of Quotations traces the proverb “It takes a village to raise a child” back to 1989. Subsequent to the publication of the YBQ, I found that Toni Morrison was quoted in Essence, July 1981: “I don’t think one parent can raise a child. I don’t think two parents can raise a child. You really need the whole village.” The forthcoming Yale Book of Modern Proverbs notes: “The saying is often referred to as an ‘African’ or a ‘West African’ proverb; however, no prototype from Africa has been discovered — though several sayings from that continent do urge cooperation in child rearing and other enterprises.”“

And I think it’s collectivist tripe.

Hmm, I actually was indoctrinated in Catholic school all my life, but even at a young age realized what they were doing and the way they were doing it was wrong to do to children.

You do realize that a child can go home and discuss something with their parent and the parent can still explain their values and belief to the child? Most children will make their own choices based on their own knowledge they gain as they grow? Children rebel against what a school taught them or what their parent taught them when it's found out it's extreme in a lot of cases. I use many values I was taught by my parents, not all though and almost none besides always working hard and the importance of academic education from my school years. The rest, nope, 12 years still didn't make me blindly follow.

So you think it's the children's responsibility to realize when they're being indoctrinated by the state?

And you're good with Biden saying a parents' children are not their own?

Do you know that in some states the schools are grooming children on gender identity and this is not to be discussed with the parents?, because the homes are "snakes that harm the children"?

This is not schools this are pedos teaching children to keep what the bastards are doing to the children from their parents.

School Districts Are Hiding Information About Gender-Transitioning Children From Their Parents. This Is Unconstitutional.

This is what happen when pedos get in the classroom dress as confident teachers to groom childrenn without parents consent.

Is happening and parents are kept out in the dark, how can you educate your child when he is been told by the pedos in school no to tell at home.

You truly believe that your child is now owned by the state and you will no longer have any rights as a parent?
Reading the remaining comments he made yesterday it seems he is saying the schools and educators are responsible for your children while they are in school, which is really how it has been.

You want the parents to decide what and how things are taught? How's that gonna work in my daughters school of 3000? You think all parents agree on plans and educational matters? A parent who may not have even graduated from high school is much more knowledgeable about the education system than than those in that position?

He didn't say "responsible" though, did he?
He said "they're not somebody else's children ("somebody else" means the parent) they're our children"
We shouldn't go with what it seems he was saying when we can listen to the actual words coming out of his mouth.

Yes, as a mom and a teacher myself, I do want parents to decide what should NOT be taught to their children.

PS I teach English and wouldn't dare presume the ownership of or responsibility for my students. I have one job which is to teach grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I'm not there to raise anyone else's kid.

ETA: Been teaching since 2006, and I've never had a parent come at me for teaching the past participle.

Ok we're going to get that nitpicky over the phrase? But with the former guy it was OK to spend two days going over "what he really meant" because we know windmills don't cause cancer and covid really wasn't going to 0 cases in two weeks.

You don't have any responsibility? If Jimmy is throwing a book at Bob, or if Sue is trying to climb a bookcase, you can just let them do it?

I do commend you for being a teacher. It's not an easy job for sure, and so many go above and beyond to provide a safe nurturing environment, so much respect to you. English was always my favorite. I still miss diagramming sentences. I don't think they do that anymore.

Thank you; that's a kind thing to write. I teach young adults so the difficulty level is considerably lessened. Luckily, the only one throwing books is me (kidding).

At least we can agree that diagramming sentences is great fun!
