A Story About Love

What is love, is there enough to go around? a bump in the road! move along till more is found
Now watered down! but still, enough lust to work it out, until it is gone! moved onto another town
But wait! there's more, but it is further watered down, is this love? or has lust turned it all around!

what if love, is too powerful to be around, and it takes two, just to summon a force as profound
for just a moment, it comes into your place, infected for life, by its warm and loving embrace
Is this Love, the watered-down escape, a mere taste, of long lost agape, even! a diluted disgrace?

what is love? if even the fool can but waste, it does not judge, on who it shows its face
with just a touch, makes madmen of its slaves, and if it blows, can send armies to their graves
but fret not! and don't you dare despair, because love, is now coming in the Air!

Let me be a bird
which makes a nest in your arms.

Let me be a bird
which takes the song of your heart
up to the clouds.. that is love

Something i didnt notice when i wrote it was, its really only good if you read it in a certain way, maybe thats my fault with the punctuation, there are parts that could be said softly and others almost shouted, if it s read fast its not very good, but when you find the right rhythm i think its one of my best, not that ive done many i just do it if i feel like it, instinctive

I didnt write it with the competition in mind, so i wouldn't enter with this... but i may still enter that competition, i think theres a week to go.
