Pretty much everything in the Bible didn't happen or exist until archeology finally finds evidence to substantiate the Bible as a valuable source of historical record. I read King David never even existed, but archeology has shown good evidence that he did.

I read that the Exodus story is historically false.
If so, a good portion of Judaism is built upon a false narrative.
What are your thoughts and findings on this claim?
Hey Terry, I have a more reasonable answer for you. The temple must be built where the Dome of the Rock currently stands. This will obviously require biblical scale events. Nobody can make that happen except for - dare I say, the anti-christ.

Hey Terry, I got an answer for you. Maybe they know that if they build it and Jesus doesn't come back, then what. What would happen to this cornerstone of their religions.
If the temple is built in the next few hundred years, then "about to happen" was an accurate claim. 40 years is a long time to us, but it's nothing more than a moment in time.

That's fine to believe I guess, though I recall back in the 70s when I was believing in this kind of thing that that physical temple was about to be built as well and here we are forty or so years along and still no physical temple.

Although the Temple is referred to as a single institution here, it is important to note that the Jerusalem Temple was rebuilt at least three times in antiquity. The first was erected under Solomon, as is described in great detail within 1 Kings 5-6, approximately during the 10th century BCE. The second was built by returning exiles in approximately 515 BCE, while the third, and most elaborate, was developed under Herod in approximately 19-9 BCE, although it remained under renovations until its destruction in 70 CE.
• God redeems the Jewish people from the captivity that began during the Babylonian Exile, in a new Exodus
• God returns the Jewish people to the Land of Israel
• God restores the House of David and the Temple in Jerusalem
• God creates a regent from the House of David (i.e. the Messiah) to lead the Jewish people and the world and usher in the Messianic Age, an age of justice and peace
• All nations recognize that the God of Israel is the only true God
• God resurrects the dead
• God creates a new heaven and a new earth
