Yes, the time is upon us. Well, upon me rather, to finally post something on ATS, its been, well, about 15 years I guess. 15 years of perusing the site and forums, never posted tho. How strange. What inspired me to finally pull the trigger? (in a good way) When ATS went down recently for a few days and a bunch of people moved to the reddit. I all of a sudden got a twinge of sadness in my heart that ATS was gone and I had never posted ;( So then and there I got a wild hair to post my UFO story, and.....it felt really good. I dont know why I never posted it, but I have wanted to for years. I will soon when I get past 20 posts. But....I look forward to participating in many of the topics. I recognize many of the names of people who are most active on ATS and its cool to have an opportunity to be a part of the same discussions eventually.
A little about me:
I am an IT dude, guitar dude, and, well, I guess a UFO dude too. Never really thought about UFO's much until I saw one, it changed my perspective on the phenomenon and a lot of things. Ill get to that one day tho.
Im just a normal dude I guess, but then again, not really, nobody is, to be normal is abnormal.
I lost my mom in september during the delta wave she was 56, I feel like she was killed. Covid. Grandmother too same week. Dad within a year and a close friend of mine too, its been effed up... So i feel like ive been surrounded by death past year, but im here and im alive. Im sober now(2yrs off hard drugs and heavy drinking) and trying to write music again, well see how that goes I guess. But, I guess thats all about me, who is The hydrocannibal.
Im extremely interested in the alternative topics that I relate with and I look forward to digging in. Especially but not limited to ---> death and dying experiences, premonitions, strange dream phenomenon of all kinds, prophetic dreams, angels and demons, afterlife, i do NOT believe were alone in the universe, paranormal phenomenon, mass media brainwashing, ancient civilizations and theory, out of body experiences, surveillance/security technology (my specialty), you know.....the cool stuff. Did I mention UFO's?
I come to ATS at a tough point in life but I look forward to hopefully bringing some light in this dark world.
Worlds tough, it sux, dont make it suck more, make it suck less.

I'm glad you finally decided to post! I, too was a lurker back in the beginning when ATS used to send email notifications when there was a new post. It's was many years later before I even bothered to set up an account, so I know what you mean when you say you know us but we don't know you.

How to upload an avatar/profile picture with instructions and so much more .

Uploading Pictures unto Post-2013 ATS, Serving up member's pictures and snapshots since the retooling of ATS back in 2013, and here's a little secret on your Picture uploads. Always make sure they 'end' with one of these three formats; jpg, gif, png... (a jpeg needs to be changed to .jpg to be accepted as only 3 letter formats are accepted).

Take your time and enjoy, ATS is a pretty large place

There's a lot of great spots to explore and share your comments in. Being this large it's safe to say that not everyone is going to agree with what you might say. And actually that's a good thing as this allows all voices, theories and ideas to come out for discussion.

But be aware that sometimes, people's conviction's can get the better of them and they might attack the person and not the subject being discussed. This is when the T&C's are your friend and on your side. Please notify us of 'their offense' immediately by using the complaint/alert feature. To report an offense, find the little "top-torso-person silhouette" to 'click-on' in their avatar/meme area, make sure the post that your wanting to alert us about is where you click 'that alert' from. These reports are reviewed by staff as we take all complaints and Alerts seriously.

Some areas will require a thicker-skin for discussion and debating and they can get rather heated (in certain arenas). Other areas require you having an open-mind and a need to consider thoughts and theories that don't fit the 'norm'. Well it took me almost exactly 1 year....to reply. I have two more to go then I can create my own posts. Im sorry for resurrecting such an old thread, but I didnt know where else to post, and I figure, I might as well make it a little interesting, why not.

I have, daily tho, been on ATS 365 days after writing this, and still, no post, why? that is the question. but whatever has been holding me back for ....15 years +.....is now dead and gone, and here i am (in all my glory, yes).

The question is: is the world ready for posts from Hydro? Are they ready for him referring to himself in the third person...constantly? That is the question....indeed there are many, questions that is. And I am NOT here to answer them, only to ask. Wel....ill answer some if I must.

Also: Today I saw, well, an anamoly? I install security cameras, I have installed cameras for 10+ years, I own a business doing this. And it re-inspired my need for being able to post on ATS. Once I am up to two replies or whatever, I will create it as its own post.

But yes, today, a customer, apartment complex in houston that i installed 32 cams at...called me and asked if i could look at a video and explain what i saw.

Well, she emailed me the video, and I looked at it, I am extremely sarcastic and kind of a joker, so.....i looked at it and I replied "there must be a tear in the spacetime continuum somewhere on your property because there apears to be entities coming thru from a wormhole, portal, something like that, a rift if you will, a tear in spacetime, and these are things that come thru".

well, i laughed to myself, thinking myself a clever little joker.....until she replied back "thats exactly what we thought it was!" and then goes on to tell me that the video is from last night, and the guy in that apartment....died today.

In the video, the light on his porch has the black, distorted, pixelated glob that forms over the light, and shimmers for a few seconds, then folds in on itself and disapears, kinda looks like its floating. And then another light across the way, then another, like something was floating past them or something. But it caused distortion and this weird "shimmering" effect over the light sources.

Ive installed HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of cameras in my life, and I have seen all kinds of crazy stuff, distortions, camera problems, artifacts, etc.....never have i seen this happen, so....its unusual to me.

But yeah, i was surprised when she came back and said "yeah thats what we thought it was too". I of course let her know that initially i had been joking, but it was hard to describe. I want to post the video but i need to check with her if its okay. I can probobly post some still pictures of it.

But I am torn between two things: some kind of weird phenomenon, or its a very rare type of distortion that actus super weird and has a mind of its own. which ive seen all types of distortion but this would be like.....intelligent distortion, but these cameras do not have AI, they are just dumb IP cameras. IP cameras do pixelate sometimes due to certain factors, but this wouldnt be normal pixelation (if thats what it is) and its unlike anything ive seen (and i work a lot with video signals and graphics cards, etc...)

anyrate, sorry for rambling on.....ONE YEAR LATER< but i need to get my post out of the way and tell teh world about this. I will go find something else to post about then i will be FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
