To be fair, I believe the soap bars marketed on Amazon and their own site are "Big Ass Brick of Soap" while the ones sold at Target, Ulta, etc are sold as "Big American Bar of Soap".
edit on 4/20/22 by Magnivea because: (no reason given)

This is in Wisconsin. I’m not going to say the town, but it’s just a regular suburban Target.
It is not in the city etc.

Ok, I will say I only saw Cold Shower, Bloody Knuckles, and Thick with my own eyes, the rest I don’t know, but there was A lot on that display front and back. There is a reason they are trying to get rid of it too.

I guess people on both the Right and the left dislike this brand. It is too sexual for the conservatives, and it is anti women for the liberals. So for the first time in history the two sides agree this is a crappy product line. That might also be why they put that display where they did, the other areas might be too valuable to lose people.

Just keep your big bar of American soap to yourself, this is a family friendly site.

... lol.

The weird thing is, most Americans don’t even use BAR soap anymore. Who the heck they marketing to? Almost everyone I know uses body wash.

Oh, the horror. Men's toiletries next to Girls' clothing. Bloody peadophiles.

Meh.
I doubt children would take notice unless brought to their attention by some super paranoid parent. Even then, they would probably just think their mum's being her bat# crazy self.

Seriously though, I haven’t used soap since the nineties.

Anyway, I’m not even a parent... but I can totally imagine being stuck shopping for my young daughters first bra, or whatever.

In which case that display would probably be like a life line to me and I’d probably definitely be buying some soap... so, maybe it’s more just a completely innocent case of smart product placement... rather than some deliberate nefarious act.

Idk, that’s just my take.

Are you kidding me, kids are like magnet to this stuff.

“Mommy, what is Thhhhhhick? Why is it called that?!!!”
“Mommy, what is Manscape????? that sounds weird, is that a man doing landscaping? Why is it near soap?”
